Nintendo has put out a press release recapping all of the news from today’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase. If you’re looking for a quick recap, check out the announcement below.


Nintendo has uploaded the full presentation for today’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, along with the Monster Hunter Direct that followed. Both can be seen below.

Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2 were just announced for Switch today, but more news is coming soon. Capcom has confirmed that additional updates will be shared during TGS Online 2020. That also includes Capcom TGS Live 2020. Both of these events are planned for September 25 and September 26 respectively.

More Monster Hunter Rise launches for Switch on March 26, 2021. Monster Hunter Stories 2 follows in Summer 2021.

Jump Force - Meruem

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer showcasing Jump Force DLC character Meruem, who comes from Hunter X Hunter. Watch it below.

Meruem is joining Jump Force Deluxe Edition on Switch in 2021.

Hades

Two new games are making their way to Switch today. The Long Dark, along with Hades, will both be available on the eShop.

Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise

Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise is coming to Switch, Imagineer has revealed. It will launch on December 4.


Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Monster Hunter Stories, which started on 3DS, was a very different take on the series. It was more about turn-based battles, exploring the world, and advancing the story.

Capcom is now revisiting the concept with Monster Hunter Stories 2, which has just been announced for Switch. A release is planned for Summer 2021.

Monster Hunter Rise

The Monster Hunter series thrived on 3DS, but hasn’t seen much action on Switch. Aside from an enhanced port of Monster Hunter Generations, Capcom hasn’t done much with the franchise on Nintendo’s latest system. However, that’s about to change.

During today’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, Capcom announced Monster Hunter Rise for Switch. It will launch on March 26, 2021.
