Firaxis surprised by the success of Civilization 6 on Nintendo Switch

Firaxis Games executive producer Dennis Shirk has discussed the success of Civilization 6 on Nintendo Switch, which the team was surprised by.
Shirk said in an interview that the team “hadn’t expected Switch to be a huge thing.” And after seeing PC players wanting to have the game on the go, Firaxis wanted to ensure that with Civilization 7, players could transfer save data between platforms.

Super Spy Raccoon, retro arcade throwback, out on Nintendo Switch this month

Publisher Flynn’s Arcade and developer Slain Mascot are teaming up on Super Spy Raccoon for Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. The game is slated for December 19, 2024.
Super Spy Raccoon is a a retro arcade throwback. Players hide, sneak, climb, and leap their way to victory.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending November 30, 2024 is now available.
No new releases keeps things relatively quiet. However, games like Super Mario Party Jamboree, Nintendo Switch Sports, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are in the top ten. EA Sports FC 25 is the overall top seller.

Wargroove 2 is Europe’s next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial

Wargroove 2 is the latest game getting the Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial treatment – at least in Europe.
If you have access to the service, you’ll be able to play the entire game for free. The offer will be available for a week – between December 5 and December 12. After that, those looking to buy the game will be able to use their save data in the full version.

It’s been a little while since the last Tetris 99 Maximus Cup, but a special one is in store for NES Tetris.

For a limited time, Nintendo Switch Online members can claim new icons based on Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.
This is the classic game of the month for December. Subscribers can redeem icons featuring characters from the game. Only five are up for grabs, and each one costs 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo.
How to complete all challenges in Mario & Luigi: Brothership

If you’re going for full 100 percent completion in Mario & Luigi: Brothership, one part of the game you’ll need to clear is its 29 challenges. Despite being called challenges, most of these actually aren’t particularly challenging at all – moreso time-consuming. Challenges are completed by performing certain tasks in battle, and clearing each one grants a small reward. We’ve completed all 29 challenges in Mario & Luigi: Brothership and have a few tips for you if you’re looking to do the same.
Do note that some of these challenges involve using Bros. Moves, which means the name and identity of all ten Bros. Attacks will be spoiled here. The names of certain locations will be listed as well. We won’t be including any story details, however, so keep that in mind before you move on.
