Dicefolk Switch release date set for June

Today, publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment along with developers Leap Game Studios and Tiny Ghoul confirmed the release date for Dicefolk on Switch. The game will be available on June 20, 2024.
The Switch version of Dicefolk was confirmed last month. We heard at the time that the title would be out sometime this year, but it turns out it’s not very far off.

Courtesy of Fireshine Games and Pugstorm, we have a release date for Core Keeper. We’ll be seeing it leave Early Access and come to Switch on August 27, 2024.
When Core Keeper lands on Nintendo’s console, the 1.0 launch will include new content, features, and quality of life improvements. More information will follow soon.

Whacking Hell, top-down shooter with roguelite elements, heading to Switch

December 18: Sanuk Games has announced that its upcoming project Whacking Hell will be released on Switch. It’s planned for launch in 2024.
If you’re a fan of Vampire Survivors, Whacking Hell could be up your ally. It’s a top-down shooter with roguelite elements Collect – players will collect enemy souls while ramping up weapons and spells.

April 14: New listings have outed that The Quintessential Quintuplets: Memories of a Quintessential Summer and The Quintessential Quintuplets: Five Memories Spent With You are both on track for English release in the west.
The Quintessential Quintuplets: Memories of a Quintessential Summer first came to Japan in March 2021. Five Memories Spent With You then debuted in June 2022. The Quintessential Quintuplets: Five Promises Made with Her also made it to Japan last September, though its current status for the west is unclear.

Switch is mainline Pokemon’s most successful platform, highest sales

As we start to wind down on the Switch era, an interesting tidbit has come to light regarding the mainline Pokemon games. Nintendo’s latest console is where the franchise has achieved the most success and highest sales.
Pokemon games have managed to sell over 96 million copies on Switch. Pokemon Sword and Shield are the current best-sellers at 26.27 million. However, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are right behind at 24.92 million. And speaking of Scarlet and Violet, they’re the fastest selling entry in the series and the third best-selling title overall.
