Skater XL Switch release date set for December, trailer

The Switch version of Skater XL has finally received a release date. Today, Easy Day Studios announced that the port is slated for December 5, 2023.
It’s been a wild ride for Skater XL, as the game was first announced in 2019. It was delayed in 2020, and while it was only pushed back a few weeks on other platforms, we’re just now getting the Switch version.

Top-down shooter Zomborg hitting Switch this week

Publisher Ratalaika Games, along with developer GameDevLab, today announced that they’re bringing Zomborg to Switch. A release is scheduled for December 1, 2023.
Zomborg is a top-down shooter set in a world with an unknown virus pandemic. Read more about it in the following overview:

Sixtar Gate: Startrail getting WACCA Collaboration Pack DLC

CFK today announced new WACCA Collaboration Pack DLC for Sixtar Gate: Startrail. It will be available for Switch on December 7 in Japan, December 11 in North America, and January 1 in Europe.
The DLC, which is a partnership with the arcade rhythm game, features eight music tracks, four gear skins, one note skin, and one original theme for the game. It includes includes the following tracklist and extras:

Youyuan has announced Arisen Force: Vonimir, its upcoming action RPG. The game is targeting a 2024 debut and is planned for release on Switch.
Arisen Force: Vonimir seems to take inspiration from the HD-2D games we’ve seen in recent years. The team says its project “combines the engaging RPG adventure story with the stylish action combat experience.”

Curling up with a book is one of my favourite pastimes, and I have always thought that the Switch’s handheld mode makes it the perfect fit for visual novels because of this. Fortunately Aksys Games agrees with me, and has supported the system with a plethora of otome since it first released. With Virche Evermore – ErroR: Salvation, the publisher has brought a noticeably dark story that, although it won’t appeal to everyone, stands out for its exceptional worldbuilding, engaging cast, and superb presentation.
