Game Paradise and Plus Alpha Beta for Switch pop up in EB Games’ system

A pair of Jaleco titles could be making a comeback on Switch. Over at EB Games in Canada, the retailer is taking pre-orders for Game Paradise and Plus Alpha Beta on Nintendo’s console. Both are listed in EB Games’ internal system.
Game Paradise also goes by the name Game Tengoku. The title, which acts as a parody of arcade shooters, was brought back in Japan last November on PS4 and PC. A western release is also planned for the near future. It’s possible that plans have expanded to Switch now as well.
Capcom takes off white download banner from Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2 Switch box

With a number of Switch games requiring an extra download, we’ve seen all sorts of banners included on the box. This is included so that consumers are fully aware of what they’re purchasing.
Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 + 2 is one such release that carries the notice. However, compared to the original boxart, Capcom has made a change.
Quad Fighters K out on May 31 in North America and Europe

A few months ago, Kyogeki Quartet Fighters originally debuted in Japan. Aksys Games then announced last month that it would be localizing the title as Quad Fighters K.
Aksys followed up with a release date today. In both North America and Europe, Quad Fighters K is launching on May 31.
LEGO The Incredibles file size, pre-load live with a DLC bonus

LEGO The Incredibles has about a month to go until launch. As a result, Warner Bros. has now made a pre-load option available on the eShop.
You’ll need 8.0GB of free space to download LEGO The Incredibles on Switch. If you do so, you can receive the Parr Family Vacation Character Pack for free. Just be sure to pre-load by June 15 in order to be eligible.

Legendary Eleven is coming to Switch next month, Eclipse Games has announced. A release is planned for June 8 in both North America and Europe.
Legendary Eleven is an arcade-style soccer game. It includes 36 teams, a campaign mode in which players can unlock stickers to boost the stats of your team or improve morale, and more.

My Girlfriend is a Mermaid!? to release for Switch in North America and Europe

At Tokyo Sandbox last month, Cosen announced that She Is Mermaid?! is coming to Switch. It’s now confirmed for the west as well.
At Anime Central 2018, Sekai Project announced it will localize the visual novel as My Girlfriend is a Mermaid!? A release is planned for both North America and Europe.
Alola form Pokemon coming soon to Pokemon GO

Pokemon GO will soon be introducing a new wave of Pokemon. Niantic announced today that some special Pokemon from the tropical Alola region, originally from Kanto, will be added to the game.
A specific date has not yet been announced. Niantic says the new Pokemon will be appearing “in the coming weeks.”

Splatoon 2 Octotune Limited Edition Soundtrack up for pre-order on Play-Asia

When the new Splatoon 2 Octotune soundtrack comes to Japan in July, it’ll be accompanied by a limited edition. Play-Asia is now taking pre-orders here.
Aside from the soundtrack, this version of the soundtrack includes a Blu-ray of a recording from the Inkopolive performance at the Tokaigi 2018.

West of Loathing launches May 31 for Switch

West of Loathing was announced for Switch as a console exclusive during the last Nindies Showcase. Today, Asymmetric revealed that the game is arriving on May 31. It’ll be offered as a digital download on the eShop.
After it originally released on Steam last year, West of Loathing received a great deal of positive feedback. It features a hybrid of point-and-click adventure and open-world RPG gameplay.

The relevant times are as follows:

– 9:50 PM ET (May 23) – 11:30 PM ET (May 23)
– 2:50 AM in the UK (May 24) – 4:30 AM in the UK (May 24)
– 3:50 AM in Europe (May 24) – 5:30 AM in Europe (May 24)
