My Big Sister: Remastered

Ratalaika has announced its second upcoming Switch title of the day, this time confirming My Big Sister: Remastered for the console. The title is due out on October 11, 2024.

My Big Sister, an RPG-like adventure game, is now getting an updated version for Switch. For the remastered edition, the game received a new story, new top-down pixel artwork, and a new soundtrack.

It Could Happen to You

Ratalaika Games, along with Pixel Noire Games, are gearing up for the release of It Could Happen to You on Switch. A release is planned for October 18, 2024.

It Could Happen to You is a game all about its narrative, but there are some point-and-click elements as well. The game revolves around villagers that have gone missing, and it’ll be up to you to save them.

Garden of the Sea release date

September 12: The recently-announced Switch version of Garden of the Sea secured a release date today. It’ll be launching on October 3, 2024.

The life sim was confirmed for Switch in June. Originally, we were given a Q4 2024 launch window.

SINce Memories Off The Starry Sky release date

PQube and Mages today set the release date for SINce Memories: Off The Starry Sky in the west. The title is scheduled for October 23, 2024.

PQube confirmed localization plans for SINce Memories: Off The Starry Sky back in March. This is the first time we’ve heard about any sort of release window.

Shotgun King update 1.5

A major update has been announced for Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate in the form of version 1.5. It’ll take some time before it comes to consoles (including Switch), but we at least know what the patch will include.

New content will be available alongside improvements and bug fixes. The team is bringing along improved AI, two new shotguns, 43 new cards with their own mechanics, and more.

Monarchy

Today, Brain Seal Entertainment announced its new game Monarchy for Switch. The game is due out on November 6, 2024.

Monarchy is a medieval side-scrolling strategy adventure game. Players will take to the field and build up their base, pull from their coffers to recruit troops, and take their retinue out to conquer caves, castles, and dungeons.

Nintendo shared new data today revealing the top 20 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for September 2024.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom was only available for a few days, but still managed to run up all the way to the top spot. Ace Attorney Investigations Collection also released last month and entered the top ten, ultimately settling at #8.

Nintendo Switch Online Kirby Super Star

Starting today, if you’re a Nintendo Switch Online member, you can claim new icons based on Kirby Super Star. This is one of the monthly classic games that we’ve been seeing on the service as of late.

In order to claim the icons, you’ll first need to boot up Kirby Super Star on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online app. You can then get each design for 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo. There are a total of ten icons up for grabs at the moment.
