Today’s Animal Crossing Mobile Direct will beginning not too far from now. Nintendo’s presentation is set to begin at 8 PM PT / 11 PM PT / 4 AM in the UK / 5 AM in Europe. It should last about 15 minutes.

As we know, only the Animal Crossing game for mobile game will be covered here. We won’t be seeing anything about Switch or 3DS.

Miitomo has been updated with new content. Players can nab the latest items in the Miitomo Drop stage, “Stars of the petting zoo! Fashion Farm (Pig)”.

Available items include:

– Silly piggy sweater
– Piggy overalls
– Oink oink jogging pants
– Angelic piglet pal

Users can select Miitomo Drop stages from the Shop tab. Miitomo coins or game tickets are needed to play.

Nintendo has started a new Switch pre-load on the Japanese Switch eShop. Beginning now, players can prepare for Super Mario Odyssey in advance. You can buy the game ahead of time and download most of the relevant data. Doing so will let you play the digital version almost immediately at launch.

Super Mario Odyssey is Switch’s second pre-load option. The first was Snipperclips Plus, with Nintendo making the option available last week. Pre-loading has yet to start in either North America or Europe.

As of now, Switch’s new video capture feature is limited to a few first-party games. We know that Nintendo intends to expand the functionality to other titles, but we haven’t heard much on the third-party front.

Mutant Mudds Collection is at least one non-Nintendo release that should support video capture. Atooi founder Jools Watsham confirmed as much on Twitter.

Watsham wrote:

Mutant Mudds Collection is planned to arrive on Switch before the year is over. An exact date hasn’t been determined.

As we reported last week, Retro City Rampage DX: Collector’s Edition had a delay in shipping (the standard edition shipped on time). Today, Vblank Entertainment announced on Twitter that the physical copies should be ready for shipping next week, along with the complementary four alternate covers as an apology. Hopefully fans won’t have to wait much longer.

Will hopefully be going out next week. They're scheduled to be finished assembly/shrinkwrapping this week.
