Atlus has passed along a new batch of details for Persona 5 Tactica covering Kingdoms, characters, and gameplay. We get to hear about Marie’s Kingdom, taking cover, the battle system, character skills, the skill tree, and Talk events.

Inspector Gadget Mad Time Party release date

Original (6/21): Microids has passed along a final release date for Inspector Gadget: Mad Time Party. On Switch and other platforms, it’s slated for September 29, 2023.

Inspector Gadget: Mad Time Party was originally revealed in April. Microids last provided a Fall 2023 launch window.

Pikmin origins concept art N64

The original developers behind Pikmin have discussed the game’s origins, including how it was originally being developed for the N64.

Masamichi Abe, who was director at the time, said in a new interview published today that “discussion of this project started during the transition from Super NES to Nintendo 64, so we had a strong aspiration to utilize its ability to display a large number of characters on screen.” Shigefumi Hino, who also was director, added that it was originally “envisioned a game that would control a lot of characters with AI.” The interview includes a number of concept art / images as well, and character designer Junji Morii talked about being inspired by Tim Burton.

Jett Rider

Today, publisher JanduSoft and developer Last Chicken Games announced Jett Rider. Currently it’s targeting release for this October on Switch.

Jett Rider is an action-packed arcade shooter with action, exploration, and RPG elements. Furthers details are available in the following overview:

Ash of Gods: The Way major update

The team behind Ash of Gods: The Way has announced a major update that’s expected to be on Switch soon.

The update is described as “a full-fledged DLC that adds a new game mode and a new deck, combined with another community patch.” It also includes the ability to replay tournaments and more.

Doomsday Hunters

MoreGames will release Doomsday Hunters on Switch this week, the studio has announced. The title’s launch is planned for July 20, 2023.

Doomsday Hunters is a roguelite twin-stick shooter where magic and post-apocalyptic future technologies collide. Read more about it in the following overview:

Chicken Journey release date

Chicken Journey was announced for Switch last year, and the game now has a release date. Loonyware has confirmed that the title is scheduled for August 5, 2023.

We originally heard about the title in June 2022. A release window wasn’t provided as part of the reveal.

Doll Explorer

Pico Games has announced that its turn-based strategy game Doll Explorer is planned for Switch. The studio has not yet shared a release window, but we’ll give you a heads up once that information is shared.

Doll Explorer, a turn-based strategy game, has players taking on dungeons by combining different actions. It follows the adventures of Tia the witch, Doll the magical life form, and Lilith the princess of the demon tribe.

Sword of Glory

Sword of Glory is making its way to Switch, publisher QubicGames and The Knights of Unity announced today. The title is actually launching in just a few days – specifically July 21, 2023.
