Master Detective Archives Rain Code early case

Spike Chunsoft is continuing to share information about Master Detective Archives: Rain Code. We now have a rundown about an unsolved case that occurs early in the game, and the characters involved.

It’s another nail in the coffin for Wii U today with Nintendo announcing that the company is ending repairs soon in Japan.

In a notice posted to the official website, it’s stated that it will no longer be taking requests for repairs. This applies to the main console as well as accessories. Components needed for repairs have run out, so the ability to fix Wii U-related devices is becoming difficult. Nintendo hasn’t actually posted an official end date – it’s merely based on when the stock of spare parts has run out.

A fresh wave of gameplay has come in for Puzzle Bobble Everybubble. ININ Games and Taito are just about to bring it to Switch.

Mario Kart Tour lawsuit

Nintendo has been hit with a classic action lawsuit regarding “immoral” microtransactions in Mario Kart Tour.

The suit, which comes from a young gamer backed by his father, demands that refunds be given for all minors in the United States who paid to use Spotlight Pipes. These provided in-game rewards using undisclosed odds. By using the pipes, players could receive helpful upgrades.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom duplication items glitch

Another duplication glitch for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and it’s not only easy to do, but probably the quickest method that’s been uncovered thus far.

The glitch we reported on last week wasn’t exactly difficult, but it probably had a few more steps to it. Now, however, you can multiply materials in mere seconds.

Sword and Fairy Inn 2 physical

Eastasiasoft announced today that it’s working with Play-Asia on a physical release of Sword and Fairy Inn 2 on Switch.

A standard edition and limited edition are planned. The latter includes a copy of the game, manual, soundtrack CD, sticker sheets, and numbered certificate in a collector’s box.

Atlus is back with a new Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection “How To” trailer showcasing new difficulty options, teambuilding, auto mapping feature, and more. We also have a look at the improved graphics, remastered sound, and new widescreen aspect ratio.

Weird West: Definitive Edition

Devolver Digital is bringing Weird West: Definitive Edition to Switch, an Amazon listing reveals. The retailer has it down for September 22, 2023.

Weird West first released last March. It’s an action RPG from the co-creators of Dishonored and Prey.
