Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe

This week’s Famitsu review scores are as follows:

Call of Duty Nintendo 10-year commitment

Original (12/6): According to Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer, the company has entered into a 10-year commitment to bring Call of Duty to Nintendo platforms. This is assuming that the merger between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard King goes through.

Spencer said that “Microsoft is committed to helping bring more games to more people – however they choose to play.”

OU has been delayed once again, and the game is now targeting release in Summer 2023. In a statement on Twitter, it was stated that the extra time will be used to improve quality.

OU was originally announced in 2021 and was was slated for later in the year. Eventually, it was delayed to 2022. It was then planned for this past spring.

Level-5 Vision 2023

A new Level-5 Vision 2023 presentation will air on March 9, 2023, Level-5 just announced. It will be held at 3 AM PT / 6 AM ET / 11 AM in the UK / 12 PM in Europe. English subtitles will be supported.

Level-5 says it will be sharing information about its upcoming slate of games. Featured titles include Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, Decapolice, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, Megaton Musashi, and Professor Layton and the New World of Steam.

Meg's Monster release date

Odencat has provided a final release date for Meg’s Monster, its upcoming adventure RPG. Switch owners can get their hands on the game starting March 2, 2023.

Meg’s Monster was confirmed for Switch last May. Originally, it was planned for a Fall 2022 launch. The game was quietly delayed, but it’s unclear why the extra time was needed.

Battle Crush

NCSoft today unveiled Battle Crush, an action-packed fighting game currently in the works for Switch. The company has thus far committed to a 2023 launch window.

Switch update 16.0.0

The latest firmware update has just gone out for Switch, and all users can now access version 16.0.0.

With a big number change like that, you’d probably expect some additions or changes. However, this one appears to be on the lighter side. System stability improvements are included per usual, but there’s also a modification regarding user nicknames.

Neodori Forever

Publisher QubicGames and developer Strobetano are teaming up to release Neodori Forever on Switch in just a few days, it’s been announced. Fans can expect it on February 24, 2023.

Neodori Forever is a retro arcade racing game inspired classic titles. Players can collect power ups and coins to expand their car collection.

Fur Squadron

Raptor Claw is gearing up for the launch of Fur Squadron on Switch, according to an eShop listing. It should be available on March 17, 2023.

Fur Squadron is an arcade space shooter following “the adventure of a team of elite pilots during what seems at first a routine training in virtual reality.” More information can be found in the following overview:
