Rumor: Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp started off as a more simplistic town-building game

At the end of October, The Wall Street Journal shared some rumored information claiming that one reason for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp’s delay was due to the game seeing an overhaul “at least once during the development process to ensure quality.” Liam Robertson from Unseen64 apparently has more on the situation, and dug up details about how a much different title was initially planned.
Development on the Animal Crossing game for mobile apparently began in early 2016. At the time, what Nintendo had been cooking up was said to be more simplistic.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp update out now (version 1.0.3)

Another update is now available for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. On both iOS and Android, Nintendo has started distributing version 1.0.3.
Today’s update admittedly isn’t terribly exciting. The patch notes only state that bug fixes have been implemented.

Fire Emblem Heroes will soon be kicking off a new Enduring Love Voting Gauntlet. It’s set to feature those who hold love in their hearts, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems say.

Sensor Tower provided new information about the performance of Animal Crossing: Pocket Leaf today. We also have some news about Fire Emblem Heroes as well.
According to Sensor Tower’s data, Fire Emblem Heroes has grossed over $240 million worldwide. Players are spending an average of about $20 per download. Not bad, Nintendo.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has already been downloaded over 15 million times in under the week. But how is it doing in terms of revenue? Sensor Tower shares its latest findings.
In its first nine days, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has generated roughly $10 million. That’s nothing to snuff at, but it’s behind Fire Emblem Heroes and Super Mario Run in terms of launch spending.
Super Mario Run was the most downloaded new game on Google Play this year

Google has announced that Super Mario Run was the most downloaded new game of the year on Google Play. We do know that it’s currently sitting between 50 million and 100 million downloads on the platform thus far.
Nintendo previously confirmed that Super Mario Run has been downloaded over 200 million times in total. However, president Tatsumi Kimishima said that the game has “not yet reached an acceptable profit point.”

Fire Emblem Heroes: “Children of Fate” trailer & “Enduring Love, Block A” Summoning Focus teased

A new Summoning Focus is coming to Fire Emblem Heroes soon. It’s called “Children of Fate” and it feature Soleil, Shiro, and Siegbert from Fire Emblem Fates. This summoning focus will be live on December 4th.
The end of the trailer did tease one more thing and it is another Summoning Focus. The focus is called “Enduring Love, Block A” and it only features one new character: Rhajat. This summoning focus will go live tomorrow due to being tied in with the latest Voting Gauntlet called “Enduring Love”.

Miitomo – new Miitomo Drop stage and items (11/30/17)

Miitomo has been updated with more content. Users will find a new stage, along with some brand new items.
“Secrets of the forest! Cute Critters (Rabbit and Squirrel)” is the new stage. It includes the following:
– Perched bunny
– Munching bunny sweatshirt
– Realistic squirrel tee
– Frilly squirrel dress
And as far as the new items go, you can nab the following:
– Snowflake cardigan
– Snowflake skirt
– Snowflake socks

Fire Emblem Heroes: new Arena quests, compensation items & December wallpapers

A variety of Fire Emblem Heroes news today: first up, a new set of Arena quests are now available. These quests require you to win Arena duels at any difficulty and win a number of consecutive battles in Arena Assault. These quests are available in three difficulty settings (Normal, Hard and Lunatic) and you need to clear the lower difficulty quests first to unlock the higher level ones. The Arena quests reward you with Dueling Crests, Stamina Potions and Orbs while you can get the new Refining Stones from the Arena Assault quests. These quests will be available for the next two weeks.
Next, all players will soon receive 5 Orbs, 50 Refining Stones and 500 Arena Medals. These are being sent out as an apology because some of the weapon descriptions in the new Weapon Refinery are incorrect.
Finally, the December wallpapers have been revealed – they feature that characters that ranked 10th in the Choose Your Legends poll, Leo and Nowi.
