Switch eShop

A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include big discounts on Freedom Planet, Superbeat: Xonic, and more.

Doom & Destiny

Doom & Destiny has been around for several years and has appeared on various platforms. It’s now set for release on Switch, a listing on the eShop reveals.

Doom & Destiny is a JPRG-inspired game with parodies and cameos throughout. Find some additional details and a trailer below.

Glass Masquerade is set for its Switch debut on February 28. For a look at the game, check out the footage below.

Pocket Academy

According to listings on the Switch eShop around the world, Kairosoft will have another game planned for Switch next week Pocket Academy will be out in all regions on February 7.

It’s been announced that the Indie Gamer Chick Collection is in development for Switch. Ratalaika Games will be publishing the release, which will feature “a compilation of over a dozen of the most famous, most memorable, and the downright very best Xbox Live Indie Games from 2008 to 2016.” A release is planned for late 2019 / early 2020.

No word yet on which games will be included, as the lineup is still under consideration. More news should be coming later in the year.

Ennui Studio has dated Tyr: Chains of Valhalla for Switch. The cyberpunk-norse adventure launches February 22, the developer has announced.

Hi-Rez Studios has brought Paladins and Smite to Switch. Could Realm Royale be next? A new datamine suggests so, as the text “Merge Nintendo crown” has been spotted in the game’s files.

Paladins and Smite were both leaked in a similar manner – that being datamines. While we don’t have an official announcement at this time, today’s news definitely suggests that Hi-Rez Studios has plans for Realm Royale on Switch.

At the Taipei Game Show a few days ago, Busy Toaster debuted the first trailer for Georifters on Switch. We’ve included it below.
