Western 1849 Reloaded

Nawia Games will release Western 1849 Reloaded on Switch next week, a listing on the North American eShop reveals. The arcade shooter is on track for August 29.

Western 1849 Reloaded features optional aiming controls, five shooting levels, unlockable Perk Cards and Charms, a Rage Mode, and more. Find more details and a trailer below.

Hamsterdam

Guns of Icarus developer Muse Games took to Kickstarter to fund its new project Hamsterdam. After surpassing the $8,000 goal, the title will be made for Switch.

Hamsterdam is a brawling hamster-fu beat ’em up. We have a few more details plus a trailer below.

Yacht Club has been quiet as of late, but that’ll be changing very soon. The studio has teased a “first look at an all new game coming to Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove” that will be revealed next week.

We’re not sure when exactly the news will drop, though we’ll let you know as soon as it’s shared – which will come from IGN. Yacht Club will likely have a presence at PAX West and may even have a presence in the upcoming Nindies Showcase, so stay tuned.

Way back in 2013, A.N.N.E was funded on Kickstarter. Developer Gamesbymo originally planned on a Wii U release, but has unexpectedly decided to go in another direction.

The developer confirmed on Kickstarter that A.N.N.E will now be released on Switch instead. Nothing else was said beyond that, though we do know that the Wii U version has been officially cancelled.

Fortnite

Epic has shared a new “State of Development” blog for Fortnite. In it, the developer has some specific comments about the Switch version, including what it will be looking to improve in the future.

Epic says it’s already targeting improvements for 50v50 and slow building detail streaming. The studio explained:

Fortnite

Fortnite received a fairly substantial update yesterday. Epic Games isn’t finished, as they’ve quickly followed up with another patch.

Players can get their hands on version 5.30.1. Epic says that it addresses controller acceleration and sprint weapon swapping issues, in addition to crashes.
