Epic Games released the latest update for Fortnite today. Version 5.30 is out now for all players.

Below are the full patch notes, including some technical improvements on Switch:

Earthworms

Earthworms is due out for Switch this Friday via the eShop. For a look at the game, check out the following video:

Crossed Swords is this week’s NeoGeo game on Switch. As for next week, it’ll be Football Frenzy. The latest issue of Famitsu confirms the release.

As the name implies, Football Frenzy is an arcade football experience. The game will cost the usual $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Son of a Witch will release on Switch, Bigosaur has announced. The game is on track for September 4.

Son of a Witch, which has been in development for three years, is an action roguelike. Solo, co-op, and four-player sessions are supported.

Just a few months ago, Football Manager Touch 2018 made it to Switch. SEGA will be quickly following up with this year’s entry, Football Manager 2019.

Fortunately, there won’t be any sort of delay this time around. Football Manager 2019 is scheduled for November on various platforms, and that includes Switch – so it looks like we could be looking at a near simultaneous launch here.

This week, Tencent finally determined a release month for the Switch version of Arena of Valor. We can expect to see the game on the eShop sometime in September.

Pre-registration is now open on the official website here. Tencent will be giving out these bonuses to those who do so: Maloch 7-day Trial Card, Level 3 (Top Level) Arcana Chest, 100 Gems, and a 3-day Double EXP Card.

Morphies Law

After a year of relative silence, Morphies Law launched on Switch this week. Cosmoscope already has a patch in the works that will address a number of issues.

Here’s what to expect from version 1.0.2:

Gaming Boulevard has captured some off-screen footage of Unruly Heroes on Switch at Gamescom. Have a look at the gameplay below.

Stick Fight: The Game

Stick Fight: The Game is playable at Gamescom this week, and we have some footage showing off the title on Switch. Check out the footage below.

Every now and then, new games make their way to retro consoles. That’s what happened with Gunlord and the NeoGeo back in 2012. Fast forward a few years later, and the same title is now heading to Switch with the new name Gunlord X.

When Gunlord launched on the NeoGeo, it was a side-scrolling run ‘n gun title with non-linear stages, 16-bit visuals, and more. It’s unclear how the Switch version differs, though it’s playable at Gamescom this week, so perhaps we’ll know more soon.

Here’s a look at the game for its NeoGeo release:
