Hollow Knight could launch on Switch sooner than expected. This version of the game “is now feature complete,” and the team is now just focusing on testing as well as optimization.
When Hollow Knight launches on Switch, it will come with free DLC. Team Cherry revealed the Hidden Dreams content pack comprised of new bosses, a couple of music tracks, and more. Find a teaser for Hidden Dreams and a breakdown of what’s included below.
– 2 New Bosses – Leap into battle with the mightiest of foes! These epic duels will test even the most skilled of players. Each fight grants rewards to the victor, though note: Engaging with these imposing bosses is entirely optional! Who are these enigmatic, impossible-to-discern figures? We’re not telling! It’s up to you to find out!
– 2 New Music Tracks – Epic battles need epic music and Chris’s been preparing just that, with new stirring boss themes for each encounter! He’s gone all out on these ones!
– New Upgrade: Dream Gate – Discover a whole new method of traversing Hallownest! Slice through the Veil and travel in an instant from one corner of the kingdom to another.
– A New Stag Station Uncovered – Hallownest’s stags once travelled the breadth of the kingdom but with the departure of the King, one special station was walled away, hidden from bugs and forgotten by stags, until now!

Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch eShop | 14 Comments
The Binding of Isaac and Super Meat Boy creator Edmund McMillen has announced his next game. The End Is Nigh, developed by McMillen as well as Tyler Glaiel, has actually pretty much finished development. It’s launching on Steam in about a month, with a release on Switch to follow later.
The End Is Nigh features adventure-platformer gameplay. Players can control Ash in over 600 levels scattered across 12+ chapters.
A teaser trailer and additional information about The End is Nigh are attached below.
The End Is Nigh is a sprawling adventure platformer where the player takes control over Ash, one of few “things” that have “survived” the “end of the world”.
Follow Ash as he flops his way through a future of pain and suffering. Feel his stress levels rise as you throw him into an endless swarm of decaying, mutant animal-like creatures and help aid his final epic quest… to simply make a friend (out of pieces of people he finds along his journey).
Oh, also you collect video game cartridges and tumors! if that does anything for ya.
Features:
600+ levels!12+ explorable chapters!
20+ collectible and fully playable mini game cartridges! (each with their own tiny achievements!)
80+ achievements that will make you feel good about yourself
100s of collectible little squishy tumors!
loads of hidden extras and endings that you will probably see someone else find before you do!
and stress!

TumbleSeed will be made easier with an update
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch eShop | 10 Comments
TumbleSeed is a quality eShop release, but its difficulty might be off putting for some. To fix that, an update is in the works that will make things easier.
On Twitter yesterday, developer Greg Wohlwend noted that the difficulty and response is “our fault, at least in part, and we are trying to find out if there’s anything we can do to fix it.” Wohlwend further added:
“We know how the current version of the game comes off when played in a review setting. Most likely you’ll play it, decide it’s too difficult, and be done with the game. We’re working on fixing that. So before we solicit more reviews, we’d like to try these ideas out first. Our changes probably won’t ‘save the game’, but we hope to give anyone that wanders into our game a fighting chance at enjoying it. TumbleSeed is the best thing I’ve worked on,” he wrote, “which makes the tepid response all the more confusing.”

Bulb Boy will be heading to Switch this month

A new game has been discovered on the Switch eShop. It seems Bulbware’s Bulb Boy, a horror puzzle adventure, will launch on Switch months ahead of the other platforms.
French website JeGeekJePlay has reported it to launch on June 20 for a price of €7.99 / £7.19 according to a photo of the eShop itself. Furthermore, Nintendo Life has published that it will release this summer in all regions, so we suppose that previous date applies to North America as well.
Here’s the official Switch trailer, so you can see for yourselves how the game looks.
And here’s an overview from the eShop:
