Project Nightmares

Feardemic and NC Studio are teaming up to release Project Nightmares on Switch, the two sides announced today. Fans can look forward to seeing it on the system later in 2023.

Burnhouse Lane

Publisher Feardemic, along with developer Harvester Games, announced today that they’ll be putting Burnhouse Lane on Switch. The title should be on Nintendo’s console later in 2023.

Burnhouse Lane is a horror adventure game focusing on Angie Weather, “a one foot in the grave agency nurse attempting to complete five impossible tasks in order to cure her terminal cancer.” For more details, read the following overview:

Crimson Dawn

Crimson Dawn is in development for Switch, publisher Gameforge and developer Purple Lake confirmed today. Those interested in playing it on Nintendo’s console will be able to do so later in 2023.

Remedium

Buka Entertainment and Sobaka Studio have announced that Remedium, a fast-paced twin-stick shooter game with a grim post-apocalyptic Renaissance setting, is in the works for Switch. A release window has not yet been announced.

Bleak Sword DX

Today, publisher Devolver Digital and developer more8bit announced Bleak Sword DX for Switch. The dark fantasy action title will arrive later in 2023.

Bleak Sword originally appeared on Apple Arcade, but the DX version will feature new content. The game is adding three new modes as well as multiple gameplay and graphical improvements.

Tiny Thor

A new 16-bit platformer is bound for Switch, with publisher Gameforge (via its IndieForge label) and developer Asylum Square having announced Tiny Thor for the console. A release is planned for Q2 2023.

Henk Nieborg, who was involved with Spyro: A Hero’s Tail, Contra 4, and Shantae is working on the game. Chris Hülsbeck is on board for the soundtrack following previous hits like Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and Turrican.
