South of the Circle update

Just a short while ago, a new South of the Circle update went live on Switch. The official patch notes are also in.

Today’s update includes a number of adjustments. On top of that, a new round of fixes have been implemented.

Finding Paradise release date

Nearly two years after Finding Paradise was announced for Switch, a final release date has been shared. X.D. Network and Freebird Games confirmed today that the title is slated for November 18, 2022.

Finding Paradise, a sequel to A Bird Story and To the Moon, is a story-driven adventure game. X.D. Network says subtle optimizations were made for console and handheld devices, including remastered HD visuals, redesigned UI and menu, auto-save for shorter play sessions, and a new music box mode to access all available OST.

Space Ducks: The Great Escape

Flynn’s Arcade, in partnership with developer 6 Toad Games, today announced that it will soon be publishing Space Ducks: The Great Escape on Switch. Its release is scheduled for November 11, 2022.

Mineko's Night Market Gamescom 2022 trailer

Original (8/26): Quite some time has passed since we last heard about Mineko’s Night Market. The project was confirmed for Switch way back in 2018, but still hasn’t launched.

We did hear the following year that there were delays and setbacks, and that it was simply going to take longer than expected. Fans can now see how things have been going with a brand new trailer that has come out for Gamescom 2022.

Sherlock Holmes The Awakened debut trailer

Frogwares has provided a first look at Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened with a debut trailer.

For those that missed the news previously, this is a remake that originally came out well over a decade ago. Frogwares ended up securing funding for the project on Kickstarter.

Original (2/8): Super Dungeon Maker, which developer FIRECHICK describes as “an adorable 2D pixel art dungeon-crawler-meets-level-designer mash-up”, will launch on Switch later this year.

Drawing inspiration from Super Mario Maker, in Super Dungeon Maker you will design and create pixel art-style dungeons, which you can then share with others online. The game will include a wide variety of levels, enemies, items, and bosses that players can utilise, and will include support for competitive statistics such as completion times and rates for its online community.

Retro Goal

New Star Games today announced that it’s bringing Retro Goal to Switch. A release is planned for later in November.

Meridiem Games and Path Games have readied a launch trailer for the new Switch version of Insomnis. Those interested in the first-person horror title can now get another look at it in action.

Arcade Archives Itazura Tenshi

Hamster is planning its weekly Arcade Archives game for Switch, with Itazura Tenshi the next title in the pipeline. It will be available worldwide on November 9, 2022.

Itazura Tenshi, a shoot ’em game, first launched in 1984. Nichibutsu handled development. Players take control of an angel, battle enemies, and connect stars to complete constellations.

Dragon Ball The Breakers review
