Monster Couch has announced a European Expansion DLC for their strategy card game Wingspan. This new content is set to release on Switch in Q2 2022.

Here’s a rundown at the features you can expect from Wingspan: European Expansion:

Milestone and Dorna Sports have just announced MotoGP 22, the latest entry in the long-running racing simulation series. The game is set to launch on Switch April 1, 2022.

MotoGP 22 is the next game in the MotoGP series, focusing on realistic two-wheel racing. This game in particular covers the entirety of the 2022 MotoGP season, with over 120 official drivers and 20 circuits. It’ll also feature the return of over 70 Historic Riders and bikes that call back to past MotoGP events.

Publisher CFK and developer CINDYZ STUDIO have gone live with a new trailer to celebrate the launch of their game Who Is Zombie. The zombie apocalypse thriller game is releasing today for Switch eShop.

Publisher Nacon has confirmed a new Switch release window for their roguelike deckbuilder Roguebook. The game is now slated to release on Switch in Spring 2022.

This news comes as Roguebook has just launched on other console platforms, after its initial launch on PC last year. Nacon and Abrakam Entertainment have also taken this opportunity to reveal a new Hero coming to the game, Fugoro.

The long awaited card battler Battle Spirits: Connected Battlers being developed by FuRyu has received a new trailer. This trailer shows off some gameplay and goes in depth into the characters that will be featured in the story. 

The entire trailer is in Japanese, but the VA’s are showcased alongside character portraits.

Battle Spirits: Connected Battlers is launching on Switch in Japan on April 14, 2022. 

Pokemon Unite is launching a Pokemon Day event on February 27, 2022. This event will see Hoopa added to the game, along with Special battles and challenges. 

There will be a new quick battle type called Full-fury battles. These battles offer shorter team set-up windows and have accelerated recovery times. Almost everything is sped up with easier to chain attacks, faster cooldowns, and increased Aeos energy for knocking Pokemon down. 

Full-fury battles will start on February 27 but will continue as limited time battles available on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays (in correlation with specific events).

Brawlhalla G.I. Joe

Ubisoft and Blue Mammoth, in collaboration with Hasbro, today announced that Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow from G.I. Joe are now available Brawlhalla as Epic Crossovers. They’re accompanied by an in-game event featuring a new Showdown game mode map, Arashikage Dojo, in which players need to obtain the highest score by dodging traps and KOing their opponents within three minutes.

Tempest 4000

Atari is bringing Tempest 4000 to Switch, the company announced today. A release is planned for March 22, 2022.

Tempest 4000 is a sequel to the classic arcade game Tempest, which “remains faithful to the original while adding heart-pounding new gameplay features.” Llamasoft and game designer Jeff Minter handled its development.

fall guys update

It’s been a year since Fall Guys was first announced for Switch. Though Mediatonic originally planned on having the game ready on Nintendo’s platform last summer, that didn’t come to pass. We ultimately heard a few months ago that the Switch version would be delayed to 2020.

We’re waiting on concrete news about the Switch version, but there is at least a positive sign. In one of its latest blog posts, Mediatonic said it it “finalizing development” and said “it’s still coming.”

Publisher Hamster has revealed High Way Race to be the next game to release on Switch eShop this week under the Arcade Archives label. Here is some more information on the game from the International Arcade Museum.
