Original (11/24): Koei Tecmo and Gust issued a second trailer for Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key today. On top of that, new gameplay has come in thanks to a live stream that just finished airing.

A final release date has come in for Mato Anomalies, the upcoming visual novel-inspired JRPG. Switch owners can pick it up on March 10, 2023.
Mato Anomalies was announced for Switch back in July. A general 2023 release window was provided at the time.

Splatoon 3 to host Big Run event on December 9

Big Run is being introduced for Splatoon 3 as part of Chill Season 2022, and Nintendo has now set a date for the event. We have confirmation that it will kick off on December 9 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET / 12 AM in the UK (December 10) / 1 AM in Europe (December 10). It’ll end on December 11 at the same time.
Big Run will be happening in Salmon Run. It’s a co-op event happening in the Wahoo World stage, and players will need to stop the Salmonids and collect Golden Eggs. Participate to receive a special decoration, though the strongest performers will receive an extra-special decoration.

Splatoon 3 update announced for November 29 (version 2.0.0), patch notes

Nintendo has announced a massive version 2.0.0 update for Splatoon 3, which is going live on Splatoon 3. This ties in with the upcoming Chill Season 2022.
Chill Season is bringing along lots of content, which has been previously discussed and further mentioned in the patch notes. Outside of that, there are tons of adjustments coming to weapons, ranked (ability to reset your rank), Salmon Run, Splatfests, and more. A truckload of fixes are planned as well.
One thing to keep in mind is that after installing version 2.0.0, you won’t be able to claim any Super Sea Snails from the Pokemon Splatfest. Make sure to claim them before downloading the data.

Nintendo Switch Sports update out now (version 1.3.0), patch notes

Original: Nintendo Switch Sports has just gone live with its new version 1.3.0 update.
It goes without saying, but the main highlight is the inclusion of golf as a new sport (you may recall it was planned for the fall before being delayed to this holiday). All modes are supported, and there’s even a Shot Assist option for beginners. It’s also worth mentioning that LAN play is now supported.

Nintendo Switch Online gets Super Mario Odyssey icons once again

Original (10/31): Super Mario Odyssey is once again a featured game for Nintendo Switch Online user icons. The first time this happened was in March, and the title popped up once again with new designs around July.
To kick off November, Seaside Kingdom icons are up for grabs. These include NPCs, shirtless Mario, and more. All icons cost either 5 Platinum Points or 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo. Also, once again, you need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member.
Humongous Collection Switch physical release revealed

Limited Run Games has revealed a new Switch physical release known as the Humongous Collection.
Six games are included in the package. Fans will receive Pajama Sam: No Need to Hide When It’s Dark Outside, Pajama Sam 2: Thunder And Lightning Aren’t So Frightening, Freddi Fish 3: The Case of the Stolen Conch Shell, Putt-Putt Saves The Zoo, Putt-Putt Travels Through Time, and Spy Fox in “Dry Cereal”. All of these are included on a single cartridge.

Fire Emblem Engage introduces Ivy, Kingdom of Elusia

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are kicking off the week with more information about Fire Emblem Engage, including Ivy and the Kingdom of Elusia. Serenes Forest has shared a translation of tweets posted today.
Ivy, who is voiced by Yoko Hikasa in Japanese, is the first princess of the Kingdom of Elusia. She’s also Hortensia’s older sister. Along with her mysterious presence, Ivy has a serious and quiet personality. She seems to be searching for the Emblem Rings in the game.
