Several new games out came out this week on the Wii U and 3DS eShops. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a peak at the gallery below.

Yooka-Laylee composer Grant Kirkhope has shared the first piece of music from Playtonic’s new 3D platformer. The track is simply called “Jungle”, and should play out in the relevant level. You can have a listen below.

FreakZone Games’ first game for Wii U was Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures, which just launched last month. The studio may prepare a second title for the eShop, too.

On Twitter, FreakZone mentioned that the team hopes to get MANOS: The Hands of Fate Director’s Cut. There are no guarantees at the moment, though it’s a strong possibility.

Zombie Vikings is the newest game from Stick it to the Man developer Zoink. It’s only been confirmed for platforms like the PlayStation 4 and Steam, but the studio’s publicist Mikael Forslind told Throwing Digital Sheep, “We would love to release on Wii U but we can’t promise anything at the moment.”

There are also possibilities when it comes to the New 3DS. Regarding the handheld, Forslind mentioned: “We are researching the hardware capacity some and once again we would love to release some games on the 3DS.”

Yooka-Laylee may end up as one of the most-successful video game-related projects on Kickstarter. Playtonic just launched the campaign at 12 PM ET / 9 AM ET, and has already secured funding. The team was looking to raise £175,000 ($270,041) and that mark has already been surpassed.

Yooka-Laylee’s Kickstarter has several stretch goals planned. These include 2.5D/3D mine cart sections at £435,000, a two to four-player local multiplayer versus mode at £665,000, and a simultaneous day-one console launch on Wii U and other platforms at £1,000,000.

PlayEveryWare issued a new Elliot Quest patch yesterday. Version 1.2.2 addresses various bugs, including a major one in which players were getting stuck in the graveyard after beating one of the game’s bosses.
