Double Dragon hitting the Wii U/3DS VC tomorrow

Double Dragon seems to be heading to both the Wii U and 3DS eShops tomorrow. It was initially expected to only be available for the Wii U VC, but a listing on Nintendo’s site confirms a release on the company’s handheld as well. The game will be available for $4.99.

Unepic could hit Wii U in January

Unepic doesn’t have a final release date on Wii U, but EnjoyUp has narrowed down a potential window. According to a tweet from the studio, the indie title may land on Nintendo’s console sometime in January.

Romancing SaGa, Super Dodge Ball hitting the Japanese Wii U VC next week

Two new Virtual Console games are on track for the Japanese Wii U eShop next week. Romancing SaGa (Famicom) and Super Dodge Ball (Super Famicom) will be out on December 18. Pricing is set at 800 yen and 500 yen respectively.

Lobodestroyo funded on Kickstarter, will be made for Wii U

Lobodestroyo reached its $35,000 target goal on Kickstarter during the campaign’s final hours earlier today. As a result, the game will be making its way to Wii U sometime in the future. With the small amount of 3D platformers we see these days, Lobodestroyo will be a welcome addition to the eShop!

December 2013 downloadable rewards now available on Club Nintendo

This month’s digital rewards on Club Nintendo have gone live. Members can choose from Mario’s Picross (3DS, 100 coins), Starship Defense (3DS, 150 coins), Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (Wii, 150 coins), and Balloon Fight (Wii U, 200 coins). These items last through January 12.
