Sonic Boom wasn’t always imagined as a Wii U game. During early development, it started out as Sonic Synergy, and was different from the final product in quite a few ways.
Sonic Stadium managed to obtain an extended version of a Sonic Synergy trailer that surfaced this week. Different designs for Eggman, improved visuals, and more are present in the video. Have a look at it below.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild players are finding ways to leave The Great Plateau early… sort of
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Switch, Videos, Wii U | 9 Comments
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has very few restrictions. Even in the opening section, you have a huge area to explore – that being The Great Plateau.
The only limitation is that you need to complete a few tasks before leaving The Great Plateau. Once that’s done, you’ll be given Link’s trusty paraglider. It’s then that you’re free to leave and explore Hyrule to its fullest.

Midway through development, the team decided against including the mechanic. This was in large part due to feedback from Shigeru Miyamoto, who essentially vetoed the idea due to it being illogical. The developers thought about stabbing weapons into cracks or crevices, though that wouldn’t work either since you’d be limited in where it could be done.
Takizawa and Fujibayashi said:
