Wii U eShop

Shutshimi was made available on the North American Wii U eShop last month. Those in Europe, however, have been wondering when they’ll have access to the game.

Neon Deity Games did share an update on this front during a Reddit AMA yesterday. Regarding the European release, the studio wrote:

“… We recently received our ratings for the EU region. We have a couple minor tests and fixes to prepare, but hopefully it’ll be soon! We can’t give exact dates due to how unpredictable the certification process is, but I would hope for it to ready in a couple of months. Maybe more, but maybe less! We haven’t forgotten our EU friends! It’s just a bit more work, that’s all!”

As far as Shutshimi’s pricing goes, that’s up to Choice Provisions. It should be roughly equivalent to $9.99.

Temple of Yog’s first big update, which we previously reported on, will be available in North America this week. CHUDCHUD Industries’ Cody Diefenthaler confirmed on Twitter that the 1.1 patch is going live on Thursday.

The new Temple of Yog update involves more quests, a new enemy type, improved AI, and other fixes/additions. You can find the full rundown here.

RCMADIAX has made over a dozen games for Wii U starting with BLOK DROP U back in 2014. But going forward, the indie developer will be looking to focus on quality over quantity.

In an interview with Nintendo Life, RCMADIAX’s Michael Aschenbrener mentioned that he’d like to launch only a game or two each year. He hopes to start this with his next release, Super Robo Mouse. If successful, we won’t see RCMADIAX’s next game until around 2018 or 2019.

Aschenbrener’s words in full:

“Ideally I would love to develop just a single project at a time – releasing maybe once per year or two. This is the goal starting with SUPER ROBO MOUSE, and should it prove successful, you would likely not see my next release until 2018/2019.”

Noitu Love: Devolution, announced for Nintendo systems in December, isn’t too far away from launching on the eShop. The Wii U version has already been submitted while the 3DS edition should also be done sometime this month.

Previously, Noitu Love: Devolution was expected sometime in Q1. A more specific release window of March/April has now been confirmed.

Angry Video Game Nerd II was on display at PAX South late last month. Johnny Burnes took some off-screen footage of the title, which you can find below.

Back in 2013, Temple of Yog developer CHUDCHUD Industries made Dumpster Dive! for mobile platforms. In the studio’s own words, the game “is an endless runner through garbage, a trash surfing, food-fetching simulator.”

Dumpster Dive! is now planned for both Wii U and 3DS. CHUDCHUD Industries’ Cody Diefenthaler shared the news in a brief Twitter message, which you can find below. You can also see the original trailer in the attached tweet.
