Wii U eShop

Nintendo released official videos for Wario: Master of Disguise and Toukaidou Gojuusan-Tsugi on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console. Watch them below.

Last week, GalaxyTrail finally published Freedom Planet on the eShop. We have a ton of footage from the title below.

Several years ago, Super Meat Boy was planned for Wii via the WiiWare service. That didn’t pan out unfortunately, and Nintendo fans have not had access to the game since its launch in 2010. Five years later though, that might be changing.

There’s a very interesting message included at the end of an official Super Meat Boy blog post from designer Tommy Refenes. It reads: “To the fan’s we’re still excluding I’ll leave you with this: Wii haven’t forgotten about U.”

Hmm… that definitely sounds like a strong hint at a Wii U eShop release for Super Meat Boy! It’d be pretty great if a Nintendo version happens after all these days.

Nearly three years ago, Tomorrow Corporation brought Little Inferno to the eShop in time for the Wii U’s launch. The studio is now almost ready to release its next game, Human Resource Machine. Just a few weeks ago, an announcement was made confirming a Wii U launch for October 14.

We recently got in touch with Tomorrow Corporation’s Kyle Gabler in hopes of learning more about Human Resource Machine. Gabler shared more information about the game and talked about what we can expect from the Wii U version, and also touched on a few other topics like the Nindies community and the difficulties of being a small team.

For our full interview, head past the break.

Additional footage has come in for the indie title Race the Sun. Take a look at the newest video below, coming from NintenDaan.

Rakoo & Friends now has a release date for Europe. The eShop is currently listing an October 15 release date for PAL regions. At launch, the game will cost €9.99.
