The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is just a couple of weeks away from launching on Nintendo platforms. Today, Nicalis announced that the game will be hitting Wii U and New 3DS on July 23. It will be made available as an eShop download.
Note that the July 23 release date only applies to North America. Nicalis will hopefully bring The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth to Europe in due time, but there’s no news on that front yet.

Elliot Quest’s Wii U sales have been “much bigger than on Steam”

Elliot Quest creator Luis Zuno appears to be pleased with the game’s sales performance on Wii U. Although specific numbers weren’t shared, Zuno told 4 color rebellion that sales coming from Nintendo’s console have been “much bigger than on Steam.”
Zuno also mentioned that bringing Elliot Quest to consoles was no easy feat. That’s why he’s thankful for PlayEveryWare’s efforts in porting the title to Wii U.
“…putting the game on the console has been a long journey and a lot of work and I definitely couldn’t have got there on my own, which is why I’m thankful for the help from PlayEveryWare to get there.
Elliot Quest launched for Wii U on March 19. The European release took place about a month later.

Developer now says Anima remains on track for Wii U, but coming after other versions
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 9 Comments
BadLand Indie, the publisher of Anima: Gate of Memories, recently reached out to us with information indicating that the game was no longer planned for Wii U. That was in spite of the fact that developer Anima Project Studio had intended to make this version happen for a couple of years now.
New comments from Anima Project Studio have only added to the confusion. The project is still apparently on for Wii U, but it’ll be released after other versions.
Here’s what was written on the title’s E3 2015 YouTube trailer page:
Again, no. We really plan to release it on WiiU. The only problem is that we wanted to release the WiiU version along the other consoles, and it is right now impossible for us, so we will work on it once the other versions are ready.
We’ve reached out to BadLand Indie as well as Anima Project Studio to clear up any final misunderstandings.
