Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is a 322 MB download on Wii U. How does that stack up to the 3DS version? On 3DS, Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse eats up 2,315 blocks of space, which translates to roughly 289 MB.

Update: Everything is now in working order once again!

The Wii U and 3DS eShops as well as Miiverse both appear to have been hit with technical issues. The two services went down over an hour ago and have been experiencing problems since.

Here’s the official status of the eShops and Miiverse:

PhobosLab released a patch for X-Type Plus today. The update is simple, though it adds a highly-requested feature.

After applying the patch, players will be able to experience X-Type Plus through off-TV play. Tapping the thumbnail will switch X-Type Plus over to the GamePad.
