Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams GamePad sound patch releasing in North America next month
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 1 Comment
North American gamers have been waiting quite some time for Black Forest Games to release the GamePad sound patch for Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. Thankfully, it appears that the update will be available in January.
Black Forest Games told Nintendo Life:
This is an issue of the US version where Nintendo US didn’t accepted the patch we did while Nintendo Europe did. We just got the info that Nintendo US is already testing our new patch, so January is a safe bet for this being fixed.
Once Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams’ patch is released, players will be able to hear sound from the GamePad’s speaker.

Hollow Knight hits new stretch goal on Kickstarter, coming to Wii U
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Hollow Knight is confirmed to be coming to Wii U having reached a new stretch goal on Kickstarter. The campaign manage to reach $50,000 in funding (combined with PayPal donations) with less than a day remaining.
Hollow Knight is a 2D action adventure game that takes place in “a sprawling, interconnected world.” Here’s an overview for the project:
As the enigmatic Hollow Knight, players will journey through the depths of Hallownest, a vast and ancient kingdom buried deep underground. Though long fallen to ruin after a dimly-remembered catastrophe, explorers and thieves still brave its dark roads, its caverns and towers, searching for riches and wonders.
Lately though, something has changed. Villagers and explorers venturing into the caverns have stopped returning. The caverns throb and tremble with a savage energy. A sweet and sickly poison is drifting through the hollows, sending creatures mad with rage and robbing explorers of their memories.
Your goal as the Hollow Knight is to explore this deep and complex kingdom, finding your own way through the dark caverns as you attempt to solve an ancient mystery. The way forward is not always clear, and deadly creatures will hunt you relentlessly, but as you press on, discovering new paths and shortcuts, and finding powerful new weapons and abilities, the kingdom of Hallownest will open up to you and eventually you will conquer it.
You can find more information about Hollow Knight on the Kickstarter page here.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams Dream Rush multiplayer mode could hit consoles
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Earlier this month, Black Forest Games released a Dream Rush multiplayer mode for Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams on PC. The mode allows up to four players to compete race each other. It has yet to hit consoles – including Wii U – though this could change in the future. Black Forest Games co-founder Adrian Goersch told RedBull in an interview that Dream Rush could make its way to additional platforms “if it is received well by the community.”
Goersch briefly touched on the studio’s new Giana Sisters game as well. It was previously said that the title could drop in late 2015 or early 2016, but the project now seems targeted for the latter timeframe.
