Two Tribes expects to continue supporting Nintendo platforms in the future
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 1 Comment
Two Tribes has been a strong Nintendo supporter since the WiiWare days, bringing out titles such as Toki Tori and Rubik’s Puzzle Galaxy: RUSH. Thankfully, the studio’s Nintendo output will continue in the future.
Two Tribes’ Collin van Ginkel told Nintendo Life:
We’ve always looked at it at a case by case basis and lots of times in the past it made sense to go with Nintendo. I don’t expect this to change anytime soon.
It might be interesting to note that we’re currently generating more income from Nintendo’s eShop than we are from Steam, or any other digital shop for that matter. This was definitely not the case a few years ago.
Two Tribes’ next game is RIVE, which looks like a probable candidate for the Wii U eShop. The game will likely incorporate off-TV play, though the developer hasn’t considered other GamePad usages at the moment.

TreeFall promises “tons of mazes, between multiple worlds, bonus worlds, arcade modes, and possibly a multi-player mode.” In terms of length, “it is a full fledged game, with a much longer length than The Letter.”

Shapes of Gray heading to Wii U in early 2015
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 3 Comments
Secret Tunnel Entertainment is bringing its PC action-arcade game “Shapes of Gray” to Wii U. A release is planned for early 2015.
Here’s an official overview of Shapes of Gray from the game’s developer:
Shapes of Gray is a fast-paced, stripped-down arcade game where you descend through a series of seconds-long levels, with a unique combat-puzzle in each one. I’ve heard it described as “the WarioWare of Dark Souls,” which I think is fitting.
For example, one level might pit your gray blob against two highly-explosive circles and an almighty square, who can only be defeated by slashing the weak point on his back. You could take care the two circles separately and then maneuver around to the square’s backside–but with only a few seconds to clear the level, wouldn’t it be smarter (and faster!) to bat one of the circles into the square to destroy him in the ensuing explosion?
Shapes of Gray for Wii U will add new modes, levels, and unlockables. Additionally, Secret Tunnel Entertainment is including off-TV play and Miiverse support.
More information about Shapes of Gray will be shared in the coming weeks.
