Nintendo has announced a massive version 2.0.0 update for Splatoon 3, which is going live on Splatoon 3. This ties in with the upcoming Chill Season 2022.

Chill Season is bringing along lots of content, which has been previously discussed and further mentioned in the patch notes. Outside of that, there are tons of adjustments coming to weapons, ranked (ability to reset your rank), Salmon Run, Splatfests, and more. A truckload of fixes are planned as well.

One thing to keep in mind is that after installing version 2.0.0, you won’t be able to claim any Super Sea Snails from the Pokemon Splatfest. Make sure to claim them before downloading the data.

Below are the full patch notes for the Splatoon 3 version 2.0.0 update:

Original: Nintendo Switch Sports has just gone live with its new version 1.3.0 update.

It goes without saying, but the main highlight is the inclusion of golf as a new sport (you may recall it was planned for the fall before being delayed to this holiday). All modes are supported, and there’s even a Shot Assist option for beginners. It’s also worth mentioning that LAN play is now supported.

The full patch notes for the Nintendo Switch Sports version 1.3.0 update are as follows:

Original (10/31): Super Mario Odyssey is once again a featured game for Nintendo Switch Online user icons. The first time this happened was in March, and the title popped up once again with new designs around July.

To kick off November, Seaside Kingdom icons are up for grabs. These include NPCs, shirtless Mario, and more. All icons cost either 5 Platinum Points or 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo. Also, once again, you need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member.

A bunch of images have popped up online for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and we may have a look at another character.

Photos have been appearing on websites such as 4chan. It’s unclear what the original source is, but all signs point to the images being legitimate. Aside from showing off the main cast – including Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and Toad – we also have a look at another character. If you’re looking to maintain the surprise, keep that in mind before proceeding.

Nintendo just announced that it will host a new The Super Mario Bros. Movie Direct tomorrow, November 29. It will kick off at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe.

Thus far Nintendo has only said that The Super Mario Bros. Movie Direct will include the second trailer for the film. It’s unclear if anything else will be shown. Unsurprisingly, the broadcast will not feature any game information.
