June 14: Frogue, a roguelike bullet hell platformer, now has a release date. The game arrives on June 20, 2024, according to an eShop listing.

We first heard about Frogue towards the end of last year. QubicGames and Wired Dreams Studio are teaming up on the release.

Publisher Mameshiba Games and developer Kamotachi are bringing KinnikuNeko: Super Muscle Cat to Switch, the two sides confirmed today. A release is planned for later in 2024.

KinnikuNeko: Super Muscle Cat is a side-scrolling platformer. You’ll take on the role of a cat with the body of a bodybuilder who fights against an invading alien army to save Earth.

Level-5 has announced the first free update for Megaton Musashi: Wired, version 3.1.0

The update instantly unlocks the new legendary collaboration mech and special moves for UFO Robot Grendizer. Also planned is various new content including Rogues, weapons, missions, and other improvements.

Already made avaialble digitally on Switch, Cavern of Dreams is now getting the physical treatment. Super Rare Games is producing the boxed version.

Only a standard version is planned, and 4,000 copies will be made available. Each copy comes with a slipcover.

June 7: PowerWash Simulator is still cranking out new content, and the latest reveal is that the game is getting Alice’s Adventure DLC.

With the new Special Pack, players will encounter Cheshire Cat and go on a quest to clean up the psychedelic land of wonder. Here’s some additional information: 

June 16: Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have nailed down a release date for the Fate/Samurai Remnant Record’s Fragment: Bailong and the Crimson Demon DLC. It’s just a few days out, and will be available on June 20, 2024.

This is yet another major piece of DLC for the game. Previously, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force prepared Keian Command Championship and Record’s Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles. Read about them here and here.

Aspyr started distribution of another patch for Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection, and update 3 is now available.

A ton of different bugs were squashed – including a couple that were specific to Switch. Other than that, Aspyr says that server stability was further improved.

After it was previously distributed digitally on Switch, Pepper Grinder is now set for physical release. Devolver Digital will be distributing it at major retailers.

Pepper Grinder initially hit Switch at the end of March. Currently the eShop version is the only way to get it.
