I thought it’d be worthwhile to compile a roundup of Mario Tennis Open details from the latest Nintendo Direct.
Nintendo of America localization producer Erik Peterson shared the following information about the game:
– Focus on fast-pace, intense rallies
– Controls have a surprising amount of depth

– 2-4 friends
– Single or doubles matches can be played online
– There is also an “open match” online option to play against others of similar skill

– Monthly leaderboards
– Player rating
Nintendo did not create Dillon’s Rolling Western. As it turns out, Vanpool did.
Although one could argue that Vanpool is an under-the-radar company, they have participated in the development of numerous Nintendo titles. They made the Tingle DS games, contributed mini-games for Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and helped out with Wii Play: Motion.
Don’t forget, European Wii owners: The Last Story arrives tomorrow!
On this week’s episode: Super Mario 3D Land, Tales of the Abyss, Dillon’s Rolling Western and Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 3D.
