A new round of gameplay is here for Pine Hearts following its Switch launch this week. An hour of footage shows off the open-world puzzle title.

A number of persistent leaks seem to indicate that Pokemon Black and White remakes are on the way, but are they really credible? Today, we’re looking into all of the information we have available on potential remasters and asking you: do you think we’re getting Black and White remakes sooner rather than later?

The real answer: probably not. Pokemon Legends: Z-A was announced earlier this year, and it’s slated for release in 2025. Though the initial trailer didn’t reveal any footage, a good number of fans are excited that The Pokemon Company appears to be taking their time with this game (at least, compared to more recent games in the series, which have drawn criticism for rushed development cycles, among other things). So why would Pokemon Black and White remakes even be in consideration for release in 2024, with that in mind?!

Thanks to sound programmer Shun Hayami, we have interesting insight into some of behind-the-scenes work that went into The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Hayami talked a good amount about working on the game’s sounds a little while back in a recruitment post on Nintendo’s website. We’ve since readied a full translation.

Just a couple of days ago, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door made its return on Switch. The GameCube RPG has finally returned two decades after its original launch. You could make the case that this was the best choice for a remake in the series as it’s arguably the most well-received entry.

Have you picked up and started Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door on Switch? If yes, what are your thoughts so far? Let us know in the comments below.

New gameplay is available for Hauntii, an adventure title from Firestoke and Moonloop Games. This one came to Switch just recently.

Digital Eclipse shared a new trailer for Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord. The remake of the 1981 PC game has now landed on Switch.

If you’ve been playing Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and are wondering how to change Yoshi’s colors, we’ve got you covered.

Mini-Yoshi is the fourth partner who joins your adventure in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. And unlike the other partners, he’s actually (kind of) customizable. You first meet Yoshi when he’s inside an egg, and when he eventually happens, he can be one of seven potential colors: green, red, blue, orange, pink, black, or white. You can manipulate Yoshi’s egg so that it hatches in the color that you want. That being said, once Yoshi hatches and you save the game, you cannot change his colors. They’re locked like that forever. Here’s our full guide to Yoshi colors in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and how to get the one you want.

When Cupid Parasite released on Switch back in 2021 I was immediately taken with it. The premise of Cupid working in a matchmaking agency to try and find partners for hopeless cases without resorting to her powers to basically cheat them into a relationship was absolute genius, and it was the perfect marriage (if you’ll pardon the pun) between romance and comedy, punctuating its more serious moments with highly entertaining lighthearted moments. Despite being satisfied with the conclusion of each of the Parasite’s story arcs, I was never going to pass up Cupid Parasite: Sweet and Spicy Darling, a fan disc that picks up where the true ending of each route leaves off and introduces a brand new Parasite into the mix. It certainly lives up to its name, but there is also a sourness to it that hints at the overindulgence of too much of a good thing.

To celebrate the official release, Hauntii has received a final launch trailer. Firestoke and Moonloop Games put out the spectral adventure experience this week.
