Disney Epic Mickey Rebrushed has just been announced for Switch as part of today’s Nintendo Direct. The game launches later in 2024.

Originally released on Wii, the Rebrushed remake features updated graphics and other improvements. It’s also been said that “Mickey Mouse’s abilities have been improved with a whole new set of skills and more.”

During today’s Nintendo Direct, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble was revealed for Switch. SEGA will have it ready to go on June 25, 2024.

This marks the third entry in the series on Switch. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, a new version of the Wii title, came out in 2019. Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania followed in 2021 as a remake of the first three console games.

Penny’s Big Breakaway appeared during today’s Nintendo Direct and it was announced that the game is launching today.

You may remember that Penny’s Big Breakaway was actually first revealed in a Nintendo Direct last June. The team is being made by Evening Star, which has developers that previously worked on Sonic Mania.

Snake Rattle ‘n’ Roll, R.C. Pro-Am, Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, Killer Instinct, and Blast Corps have all been announced for Nintendo Switch Online. The full set launches today.

These games were originally developed by Rare. Killer Instinct and Battletoads in Battlemaniacs are a part of the SNES app. Meanwhile, Snake Rattle ‘n’ Roll and R.C. Pro-Am are available on NES. Finally, Blast Corps is for the N64 library.

The Endless Ocean series is making a comeback on Switch with Endless Ocean Luminous, Nintendo has announced. It launches on May 2, 2024.

Endless Ocean is one of Nintendo’s more niche franchises, but still ultimately received two games on Wii – both were made by Tetris 99 developer Akira. The first one came out in 2007 (2008 in North America) followed by the sequel in 2009 (2010 in the west).

The full February 2024 Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase is now here in its entirety. Fans can tune in to the 25-minute presentation for the latest look at upcoming Switch titles.

This doesn’t happen often, but the full event is immediately available – there’s no stream. It should come in handy if you’re only interested in checking out certain segments or quickly scrolling through.

According to Ziggurat and Poppy Works, the Switch version of Slave Zero X has been delayed. The game will now be releasing on Nintendo’s platform sometime this spring (early spring at that).

There were no prior notices about the Switch version seeing issues so this news comes as a bit of a surprise. Slave Zero X never received a page on the eShop, though that’s not always indicative of a delay.

Shatterproof Games intends to release Aarik and the Ruined Kingdom on Switch, the studio has announced. It will be available shortly after the initial launch on May 26, 2024.

Aarik and the Ruined Kingdom is a puzzle game in which players guide Aarik through wreck and ruin and learn about the mysteries of a long-neglected kingdom. More information can be found in the following overview:

Jungler is joining the Arcade Archives series on Switch, Hamster announced today. It will be available on February 22, 2024.

Jungler is an action game that was first released by Konami in 1981. The aim is to defeat the enemies wandering around the maze, either by firing a bullet at its tail or hitting it head-on if it’s shorter than your character.

Jungler will be sold digitally on the Switch eShop. Pricing is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.
