Today, Square Enix revealed the final release date for SaGa Emerald Beyond. Switch players will be able to pick up the RPG on April 25, 2024.

Square Enix originally announced the project during a Nintendo Direct in September. The company said at the time that the game would be released sometime in 2024.

Today, Spike Chunsoft published its latest trailer for the upcoming Switch roguelike RPG Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island. The video introduces new elements, including the game’s Monster Dojo, which is a special facility where you can simulate dungeon encounters and practice to your heart’s content. It also offers a look at Parallel Play, which allows you to enjoy a variety of ways to play.

Nintendo has given fans a little surprise to close out the year, as a demo for Another Code: Recollection just launched. It can be found on the eShop.

Remember that Another Code: Recollection is comprised of two mystery adventures that Nintendo originally shipped on DS and Wii. Further information is available in the following overview:

Mortal Kombat 1 has received a new update for December 2023.

Support for Quan Chi as a new fighter and the Khameleon Kameo Character are the highlights. However, there a bunch of other aspects including holiday elements, AI adjustments and improvements, latest balance adjustments, and more.

Here’s the full rundown:

The Indigo Disk’s Terarium is home to every single starter Pokemon from previous games, and since they can all be caught in the wild, we’ll inform you about all of their locations – ranging from Squirtle to Cyndaquil. That said, you have to unlock the ability to find them in the wild first. Every starter Pokemon appears here except for Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly – those still can’t be found in the wild right now, so keep that in mind. 

Two more classic Humongous Entertainment games are bound for Switch with Pajama Sam 3 and Freddi Fish 4. Both are due out on December 21, 2023.

September 14: Thanks to today’s Nintendo Direct, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes now has a release date. We’ll be seeing it on April 23, 2024.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes was originally funded in 2020 on Kickstarter. The game comes from previous developers of the Suikoden series.

November 30: Phoenix Labs today unveiled Fae Farm: Coasts of Croakia, the first major content update for the game. It will be available for Switch on December 14, 2023 at no extra cost.

Phoenix Labs is mostly keeping quiet on the details, but has shared a couple of things thus far. The studio states: “Fae Farm: Coasts of Croakia invites players to a new realm where they’ll meet mysterious new characters and take on brand-new quests. Players can look forward to exciting encounters and discoveries, brand-new gameplay mechanics, and more.”

Hydrapple is Dipplin’s new evolution introduced in The Indigo Disk DLC, and we’ll tell you about how to evolve it in this post.

There have been hints about this since The Teal Mask. In the game’s code, Dipplin was capable of utilizing the Eviolite item – which is only possible if the Pokemon can evolve again. Indeed, Dipplin has received a brand-new evolution in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC. Before Dipplin can evolve, however, you need Applin to evolve.
