Total spending on the Pokemon mobile games has surpassed $2.5 billion, according to a Sensor Tower report. That goal was reached with a combined six titles, but Pokemon GO accounts for roughly 98% of all player spending.

Outside of Pokemon GO, Pokemon Shuffle Mobile has grossed roughly $25 million. Pokemon Duel, Pokemon Quest, Pokemon: Magikarp Jump, and Pokemon TCG Online follow next.

Tetris 99 updated earlier this week to version 1.1.0. According to Nintendo, the patch implemented a number of fixes to improve gameplay.

Tetris 99 is hosting its first event this weekend. The Maximum Cup, starting at 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET tomorrow, will have players attempting to win first place as many times as possible. The top 999 players with the most Tetris Maximus wins will be given 999 My Nintendo Gold Points.

This past week, 7th Dragon celebrated its tenth anniversary. Director Kazuya Ninou reflected on the occasion as well as his interest in continuing the series.

Ninou is open to a couple of things. He’d love to remake the first 7th Dragon game as well as create an entirely new title. In fact, he already has everything planned for what the new entry could be.

7th Dragon was made by the now-defunct developer Imageepoch. However, that may not actually be too much of a roadblock. Criminal Girls, another one of Imageepoch’s IPs, has already made a comeback, so Ninou is hoping something similar could happen with 7th Dragon.

Nomada Studio and Devolver Digital have announced that Gris has sold 300,000 units across all platforms. To celebrate, the narrative platformer has received an update featuring unused concept art and music tracks.

Here’s a brief rundown of what’s included:

Limited Run Games has announced a partnership with Inti Creates to produce a physical version of Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. A special collector’s edition will also be available, pictured below.

Pre-orders for the physical version open on March 15 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. Copies will ship later on in 2019.

VA-11 Hall-A still maintains a Q1 2019 release date in the west. Over in Japan though, the game has an actual release date of May 30. It will be sold for 3,758 yen.

Also in Japan, a physical version will be offered. First-print copies will come with an art book and original soundtrack CD.

The Art of Bravely Default finally came out in the west this week. Fans will be happy to hear that the next book, The Art of Bravely Second: End Layer, is also seeing a release overseas.

Dark Horse Books picked up The Art of Bravely Second: End Layer for English localization. The book is jam-packed with 250 pages of concept art and developer commentary.

PQube, LookAtMyGame and developers Storybird Games and Wonderboy Bobi have announced that Aggelos is coming to Switch next month. The Wonder Boy-inspired action RPG launches via the eShop on April 25.

SOEDSCO has shared a new video for Xenon Racer focusing on Boston and Lake Louise, two of the areas featured in the game. There are five tracks between them, including Boston 1000, Boston Port, Boston Downtown, Louise Bridge, and Lake Louise Forest. We have the video below.
