My Nintendo has updated with a couple of new rewards, including a desktop calendar and holiday ornament. Currently they are only available in North America.

For the calendar, each month features different characters from a variety of Switch games. Nintendo specifically stated that Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Princess Peach: Showtime are two titles that can be found within the calendar. However, thanks to one of the graphics on the official site, we also know that Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Luigi’s Mansion are featured.

Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator was previously announced for Switch. However, what we didn’t know is when the title would actually be available. It turns out the wait is over, as you can pick it up right now.

The game was first made known for Switch exactly one year ago. tinyBuild was hoping to publish it this past spring, but that didn’t end up happening and we didn’t have any updates until today.

Freedom Planet 2 was last planned for this past summer. Now the game is moving out of 2023 entirely – which isn’t a surprise given how little time there is left in the year.

XSEED said the following about the Freedom Planet 2 delay:

Today, Red Art Games announced that it’s working on a physical release of Itorah for Switch. It’s due out in Q2 2024.

Itorah will be sold standalone and as a Deluxe Edition. The standard edition will be sold everywhere, but the Deluxe Edition will be exclusive to the Red Art Games online store. It includes a copy of the game, a sleeve, and an exclusive art book.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo, which has been a staple of the gaming industry for over twenty years, is officially dead. The Entertainment Software Association announced today that it’s pulling the plug on the event permanently.

E3 has been home to some of the biggest gaming announcements, news, presentations, and hands-on opportunities of the year. However, 2019 was the last time it was fully operational. The coronavirus pandemic impacted E3, and the event was never able to recover.
