Today, publisher Nordcurrent Labs and developer Emergo Entertainment revealed the final release date for Fireside. The game heads to Switch on June 4, 2024.

Fireside was first made known for Switch last November. We knew it was coming sometime this year, but it was unclear when exactly.

Kiwi Walks has announced a date for the upcoming Switch release of their story-based RPG, WitchSpring R. The game will release worldwide on August 29, and will be published in the West by PM Studios.

WitchSpring R is a story-focused RPG where players take on the role of Pieberry, a young witch who’s left the forest where she’s grown up to explore the outside world and develop her magical abilities.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has taken the crown as Nintendo’s best-selling game ever.

As we found out earlier this week from the company’s financial results, the racer has sold 61.97 million units. The only title that technically sold more than that is Wii Sports at 82 million units. However, since that was a pack-in with Wii in some territories, it’s not quite the same.

Nintendo just announced that its ending support for X, previously known on Twitter, on Switch. The social media service will be discontinued on the console as of June 10, 2024.

When the support ends, you won’t be able to post screenshots or videos directly to X. Also, sending friend requests through the social media platform will be removed. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Splatoon 3, and Splatoon 2 will be affected as well.

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons just received its latest update on all platforms, including Switch.

The update includes some small additions such as the ability to kick users from the multiplayer lobby. Some other adjustments and fixes are included as well.

Already available digitally, Bat Boy is now getting the physical treatment on Switch. Limited Run Games will be producing the boxed copy.

As of now only a standard edition is in production. No special editions are planned currently.

Publisher No More Robots and developer Big Z Studios are bringing Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer to Switch, the two sides confirmed today. A release is planned for May 14, 2024.
