Bayonetta 3 was only just announced in December, and likely won’t be releasing for quite some time. Still, that doesn’t mean PlatinumGames lacks interest in continuing the franchise in the future.
Over on Twitter, original Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya said that he has ideas for a fourth Bayonetta. Though the comment alone doesn’t guarantee another entry in the franchise, the interest is definitely there. It’s also encouraging that Platinum would know how to continue to the series following Bayonetta 3.
Nintendo has some special Kirby-related activities lined up for this year’s Emerald City Comic Con. Attendees will be able to try out the game as well as earn Kirby themed items.

Yesterday, Two Tribes announced that Toki Tori 2+ would be released on Nintendo Switch next week. Today, they releaed a trailer for the port:
Onion Soup Interactive’s Nippon Marathon has been announced as coming to the Switch. The four-player party racing game is currently in early access on PC, but will be released on Nintendo’s latest console in Autumn 2018. Watch the trailer for it below:
Arc System Works has published the first trailer for the Switch version of Happy Birthdays. This trailer is in Japanese, but the game has already been confirmed for a Western release this Summer. Check it out:
Following the trailer last week that introduced some of the main playable characters, SEGA released a new trailer for Valkyria Chronicles 4 today that showcases some of the game’s antagonists, specifically the Imperial Army members Crymaria Levinc, Klaus Walz, Forseti, Heinrich Belgar, Nikola Graf and Chiara Rocino. It’s the end of week, which means another addition is coming to Splatoon 2’s weapon arsenal. The Sloshing Machine Neo is identical to the regular Sloshing Machine in terms of stats, but comes with the Point Sensor sub-weapon and the Splat Bomb Launcher special instead. It’ll be available in-game tomorrow around noon in Japan and Australia, early in the morning in Europe and later tonight in North America.
The newest bound hero battle and summoning focus are now live. You will be able to summon Azura, Corrin (male) and Kagero. A long with a new bound hero battle has started featuring Corrin and Azura. Both last until the 24th of February.
The newest Animal Crossing event has just started with an emphasis on crystals. You can do requests and earn crystal shards to craft crystal prizes. Timed events will also give you a couple of crystals for the event as well as a couple other gifts. The event lasts til February 24th.
