The September 2023 Nintendo Direct is now in the books, and we have an official recap for the show. It goes over all of the notable announcements and news that was shared throughout the 40-minute presentation.

Here’s the full September 2023 Nintendo Direct recap announcement:

Koei Tecmo is developing Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake for Switch, the company announced today. Fans can look forward to it in early 2024.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake is a new version of the original that first came to Japan in 2001 followed by the west in 2003. It’s based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII with Power Up Kit, complete with both the “All Officers Play” and “All Periods Scenarios” features. Also featured are new graphical and game system upgrades to help reawaken the title.

As was shared during today’s Nintendo Direct, the Switch version of Dave the Diver has received a release date. Expect to see it on October 26, 2023. Note that a demo is also available today.

Dave the Diver was previously confirmed for Switch in June. Only a general 2023 launch window was initially provided.

Here’s an overview of the game:

The GameCube classic Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is making a comeback on Switch, Nintendo just announced. It will be available in 2024.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door originally debuted on the GameCube in 2004. It is widely regarded as the best entry in the Paper Mario series.

The first details about the sixth wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC were revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct. It will be available this holiday.

Wii Daisy Circuit will be one of the new courses. Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline, and Peachette are among the new playable characters.

Wargroove 2 is almost here, and a release date has now been announced. The title launches on October 5, 2023.

Wargroove 2, the turn-based strategy sequel, was previously announced in March. Chucklefish didn’t initially talk about launch timing.

Eastward is set to receive new DLC in the form of the Octopia expansion. This will be available during the holiday.

The DLC follows Sam and John as they start a peaceful new life as farmers in a remote mountainside village. It’ll feature crops to grow, livestock to tend to, and cooking plus holes to visit, ghosts to chat to, and a colorful cast of Eastward characters to impress with John’s new recipes.

Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story now has a release date. The title launches on November 1, 2023.

Riot Forge is bringing Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story to Switch, the company has announced. The game is scheduled for 2024.

Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story is a crafting RPG in which you can play your own Yordle – one of the many fuzzy and quirky inhabitants of Bandle City. More information is included in the following overview:

The lineup of “99” games on Switch continues, with Nintendo just announcing F-Zero 99. It launches later today.

F-Zero 99, which builds on the original title, is a multiplayer racing game in which 99 players vie for first place. Learn more about it in the following overview:
