We’ve already posted file sizes for two Switch games today, so let’s throw another one into the mix. According to Nintendo’s UK website, FIFA 18 is 14301.53MB. In other words, it’s just over 14GB.

Comparing that amount to NBA 2K18, another recent sports game for Switch, the initial download was 6.8GB. However, an additional software update for 2K Sports’ game takes up 16.1GB. NBA 2K18 save files also eat up 5GB.

Currently we’re only aware of the single, initial download for FIFA 18, which is the aforementioned 14GB. If we hear anything else, we’ll let you know.

Tiny Barbarian DX’s file size is now known via the game’s eShop listing. If you’re going the digital route, you’ll need 159MB of free space.

We should also note that the European Switch eShop has a listing for Tiny Barbarian DX. It shows the same date as North America, which is October 10. Luckily we won’t have another situation similar to The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ on our hands. The digital release of Tiny Barbarian DX will be taking place simultaneously.

A new update is starting to make its way out for Bulb Boy. It’s only live in Europe at the moment, but it’s expected “very soon” in North America and Japan.

As far as what the patch does, we’re aware of a couple of changes currently. First, the home menu icon has been updated to what’s pictured above. Also, in one scene, additional icons indicate that you can use two characters at the same time. Hidden bug fixes are also implemented.

Thanks to a listing on the European Switch eShop, Fire Emblem Warriors’ file size on Switch is confirmed. The game will take up 13.1GB.

Fire Emblem Warriors’ New 3DS pre-load recently started in Japan. The game is roughly 16,811 blocks / 2.05GB on the dedicated handheld. It goes without saying then, as you would expect, that the Switch version is a much bigger game.

Two more games are joining the North American Wii U Virtual Console this week. Tomorrow, the eShop is adding Shockman and Chew Man Fu.

Here’s an overview of Shockman:

It’s been two years since Arnold and Sonya were made into Shockmen. A message from the professor to return to their bodies has them head to his laboratory, but they are ambushed by a mysterious enemy along the way. After narrowly defeating the enemy, they catch a TV news flash announcing the Ryo Empire invasion. They find that the professor’s been abducted and set out to rescue him.

And Chew Man Fu:

It’s up to you as an apprentice female monk to free the towers and lift Chew’s curse to bring peace and fried rice back to the land once ruled by the Egg Roll Dynasty. The rules are simple! Your objective is to clear each round by pushing or pulling four colored orbs onto their matching colored tiles. Beware the sorcerer’s minions in the tower who stand in your way! Kick the orbs to take your enemies out or to break down walls! Overcome the obstacles and place the orbs on their respective tiles! Chew Man Fu also features the 2-player Kick Ball minigame, as well as an Edit Mode for creating your own unique stages! The fun is endless!

Shockman and Chew Man Fu will cost $5.99 each.
