Gummy Cat has come out with a new version 1.7.1 update for its laid-back management adventure game Bear and Breakfast.
The game just released in Japan, so Japanese support has been added in. A number of bug fixes and other adjustments have also been implemented – including “an experimental tool for attempting to fix specific save files that had bugged progression.”

It’s the middle of March, which means we now have the lineup of finalists for the World Video Game Hall of Fame – this time for 2023.
Wii Sports and GoldenEye 007 are the two notable Nintendo-related selections. The other finalists include Age of Empires, Angry Birds, Barbie Fashion Designer, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Computer Space, FIFA International Soccer, The Last of Us, NBA 2K, Quake, and Wizardry.
Limited Run Games is preparing a physical release for Toy Soldiers HD, the company just announced. It will be available as part of its distribution line.
Only a standard version is planned. No special editions will be available.
As of today, My Nintendo members can spend their points on a special reward for Metroid Prime Remastered.
Nintendo is now offering a set of two rustless-iron lapel pins inspired by the game. The logo pin measures 3.5″ x 1.77″, and the Samus pin measures 3″ x 2.9″. The description notes how fans can attach them to a hat, jacket, or other gear.
Publisher tinyBuild and developer Konfa Games will release Slime 3K: Rise Against Despot on Switch, the two sides confirmed today. It’s due out later in 2023.

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator has come out with a new update and has moved up to version 1.1.4.
A bunch of fixes are included this time around. There are also adjustments to unit behavior and optimization for the radial menu.

Today, publisher tinyBuild and developer Hungry Couch confirmed they’ll be bringing Black Skylands to Switch. A release is planned for this summer.
Black Skylands is a top-down Steampunk adventure game that previously appeared in Early Access. Players will take on the role of a young, brave pilot named Eva and her trusty moth, Luma as they face off against enemy pirates and the unknown dangers hidden in clouds.
Original (2/28): Infernax is celebrating its first anniversary with a major new free content update known as “Deux or Die”. It will be available sometime this spring.
The update will include a new multiplayer mode that introduces an original character with two unique movesets. A second person can control Cervul the Squire, son of Harold, Unenthusiastic Heir to the Brown Mound.

Touhou: New World, otherwise known as Touhou Shinsekai, has now been announced for English release in the west. XSEED is officially committing to a summer release window, though a trailer that came out today specifically mentions July 13.
Touhou: New World was previously announced in February. However, that announcement was only for Japan.
Labrador Studios have announced a new update for strategy RPG Live by the Sword: Tactics on Switch, which will bring with it an entirely new game mode. Board Builder will allow players to create their own maps do battle against AI opponents as well as other players. The update will also come with a number of balance changes and bug fixes.
