Dragon Ball FighterZ Switch beta coming next week in Japan, app now available to download

The online beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ on Switch will start next week, Bandai Namco has announced. In Japan, it’s set to take place between August 10 at 1 PM until August 12 at 4 PM.
When the beta starts, 23 characters will be available. You’ll also be able to use a new Extreme Type controls method.
You can download the app for the Dragon Ball FighterZ beta from the Japanese eShop now. It takes up 3.1GB of space.

Last April, Arc System Works initially released Slice, Dice and Rice on Steam. That same game is now coming to Switch, the company announced today.

Last week, V-Jump revealed that Bandai Namco will be offering an open beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ on Switch. The company has made it official today, reconfirming that it will be made available sometime in August.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will have new multiplayer features on Switch. Along with 2v2 and 1v1 matches, the title will include an offline 6-player Party Match mode.

Two DLC characters have been announced for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Goku and Vegeta, both in their regular forms, will be added to the game.
Normal Goku makes use of Kaioken and Super Spirit Bomb. Meanwhile, normal Vegeta, has Galick Gun and Galaxy Breaker.
We also have a specific update on the Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ. Japanese magazines reveal that an open beta is planned for August. During the event, local 3vs3 matches will be possible.

Famitsu has announced that Daedalus: The Awakening of Golden Jazz is releasing for Switch in Japan later this year. This is part of the newly announced Jake Hunter Detective Story series that depicts the early childhood memories of Jake Hunter.
More information should emerge with upcoming Famitsu leaks and when the magazine is published officially. What we know thus far is that Hirotaka Inaba is in charge of the scenario, and development is 55% complete. Also, a demo will be included with Jake Hunter Detective Story: Prism of Eyes.
