Bandai Namco community manager says make your voice heard if you want Project CARS 2 on Switch
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 98 Comments
Project CARS 2 isn’t on Switch, and at least for now, that’s unlikely to change. However, if fans are vocal, it may not be entirely impossible.
In an interview with Fragments of Silicon, Bandai Namco community manager Cyrus Wesson was asked about a potential Switch port of some kind. Wesson responded by saying that if fans are interested, they should make their voices be heard by sharing comments on Bandai Namco’s social media pages or on the Project CARS website. The development team is said to be “extremely, extremely receptive” to feedback.

As was announced last month, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be getting some new DLC this fall. The big thing that’ll be included in this DLC are two new characters: Dabra and Buu (Gohan Absorbed). Bandai Namco has now released a trailer that shows the two of them in action:
Pokken Tournament DX sold through 41% of its initial shipment in Japan
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 9 Comments
Pokken Tournament DX sold a little over 50,000 copies in its first week in Japan. It didn’t light the sales charts on fire, but it wasn’t a flop, and it was also one of the best-selling games of the week.
Media Create further adds that Pokken Tournament DX sold through 41.39 percent of its initial shipment, which may seem on the low side. However, the game sold about 75 percent of the Wii U version. For that release, the original Pokken Tournament sold 70,000 copies in its first week with a sell-through rate of 36.65 percent.
Media Create points out that both Pokken Tournament DX and the original title have low sell-through rates in their first week. But since the Wii U version went on to sell 179,000 copies, the sales tracker believes DX could continue to sell over time, especially during the holiday season.

A new patch has been issued for Namco Museum on Switch. If you’ve downloaded the game, version 1.0.1. is available.
The patch notes are as follows:
– Improvement of input delay on some titles
– Game operation stability improvement
– Revising issue of displaying improper numbers on some ranking scores
* Some way to display ranking is changed
Bandai Namco also says that the input delay fix is just an improvement. The few frames delay is impossible to avoid due to the nature of Switch’s hardware. It’s impossible to be fixed completely.

[Review] Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
Posted on 7 years ago by Dennis Gagliardotto(@LyonHart_) in Reviews, Switch | 19 Comments
System: Switch
Release date: September 22, 2017
Developer: Dimps
Publisher: Bandai Namco
The illustrious Dragon Ball franchise by the brilliant mind of Akira Toriyama still goes strong today over 30 years later thanks to its unforgettable characters, world, and expansions into realms of other media such as films, video games, and more, including its brand new anime follow-up Dragon Ball Super. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 takes the core concept and canon of the series and adds a twist to it, giving players a “what if” scenario by having them right the wrongs of altered history as a Time Patroller – a character which you’ll create before starting the game to serve as your primary avatar on your journey through time. Unlike other titles that have you reliving the show, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 feels like a fresh take on the series.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet producer on lack of Switch version, could be considered if many fans request it
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 32 Comments
At least for now, Bandai Namco has no plans to bring Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet to Switch. Producer Yosuke Futami recently explained why.
According to Futami, the team targeted all high-end consoles to reach as many players as possible. Currently there are no plans for a Switch version, which is in large part because the console didn’t exist when development started three years ago. Futami did say that if many fans request a Switch version, it could be considered.
