We previously reported on the upcoming patch for Pokken Tournament DX, which will add a variety of new features, most importantly online team battles. We now have a more concrete date on when the patch will be available: “mid-November”. Since it’s already the 10th, we should be getting that patch fairly soon, perhaps even next week.

Like most companies as of late, Bandai Namco has reported its latest financial results. The company provided an update on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s sales as part of that.

By September 30, the game has shipped 300,000 copies on Switch worldwide. Bandai Namco says that number has increased to 400,000 units overall.

Recently we’ve heard several reports of developers who were surprised at the success of the Switch, which is why we haven’t seen a whole lot of third-party support for the system so far. However, it seems like that attitude is now slowly but surely changing, thanks to the system’s continuously strong sales.

Bandai Namco’s president Mitsuaki Taguchi said the following about his company’s experience with the Switch so far:

It’s been a couple of months since launch, but Nintendo has just now published an accolades trailer for Pokken Tournament DX. View it below.

We now have a trailer showing off the Switch version of One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 in all its glory. You can check out the Japanese trailer below to give it a look. However, if you ever plan on watching One Piece I’d say don’t watch this as it has heavy spoilers for that show.

Following the news from V Jump, Bandai Namco has officially unveiled new content coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The game is getting new characters, new costumes, and a new game mode this fall.

Here’s the official rundown:

Bandai Namco is continuing its trend of bringing some of its older titles to Switch. Following Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition has been announced for the console.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition, which originally came out in 2015, mashes Koei Tecmo’s Warriors series with the famous manga IP. The new Switch version will come with 42 pieces of DLC. This includes challenge episodes and costumes. Online co-op from the PlayStation versions is missing, but local two-player co-op is supported with two sets of Joy-Con or Pro Controllers.

New details about paid and free DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 emerged earlier this week via a V Jump magazine. ShonenGames has provided a high-quality scan with a full translation.

Once again, Tapion and Android 13 are the new paid DLC characters. The Hero Colosseum will also be added in for free involving figures.
