Disney Magical World 2 Enchanted Edition trailer

Bandai Namco has gone live with a launch trailer for Disney Magical World 2: Enchanted Edition. This is based on the 3DS title, which first came to Japan in 2015 and the west in 2016.

Here’s a little bit of extra information about Disney Magical World 2: Enchanted Edition:

.hack//G.U. Last Recode

.hack//G.U. Last Recode is in development for Switch, Bandai Namco and CyberConnect confirmed today.

A Switch version of the game was rated by the ESRB at the very start of August. However, today is the first time that Bandai Namco has made the news official.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode contains remastered versions of all three original .hack//G.U. titles, Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption along with .hack//G.U. Reconnection. We have more information below.

Pac-Man 99 Wagan Land

More DLC has made its way to Pac-Man 99, with Bandai Namco now offering a theme based on Wagan Land.

Wagan Land originally released in 1989 on the Famicom, though it did appear on the Game Gear later on as well. It’s a platformer starring Wagan, who can stun enemies using sound waves. The game did not see a proper English release outside of Japan back in the day.

A new update (version 1.11) has come out for Super Robot Wars 30. This update brings some bug fixes and improved stability, as well as an option to change the protagonist’s name.

The full patch notes and more game details are included below.

According to the latest issue of Weekly Jump, Present Mic is joining My Hero One’s Justice 2 as the game’s newest DLC character. Unfortunately, the magazine doesn’t provide any actual information beyond that. It’s also unclear when the DLC will be available.

Bandai Namco has been pumping out DLC on a regular basis for My Hero One’s Justice 2. The first season pass featured Hawks, Mei Hatsume, Itsuka Kendo, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, and Gentle & La Brava. Hitoshi Shinso then kicked off the second season pass, which will be comprised of another five characters. With Present Mic now having been revealed for My Hero One’s Justice 2, we should be seeing three more characters to follow.

Dragon Ball The Breakers

Bandai Namco and Dimps have just announced Dragon Ball: The Breakers, a new asymmetrical online multiplayer game. The title will launch for Switch and other platforms sometime in 2022.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is set in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse universe and has fans playing as one of the iconic rivals of the franchise, the “Raider”, or one of the seven “Survivors” with no super powers. The Raider will need to use its power to eliminate the “Survivors”. These regular civilians have been caught in something known as a “Temporal Seam”, trapping them in a place where space and time are in disarray. They’ll need to cooperate in order to push back the Raider and escape using the Super Time Machine. An aspect of the game involves using items on the field and escaping the field strategically.

Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 have each surpassed eight million units in terms of total worldwide shipments and digital sales, Bandai Namco announced today. That applies to combined sales across all platforms.

Bandai Namco is celebrating the milestones with different activities for both games. Get the full rundown below, courtesy of Gematsu.

Jump Force is coming to an end, with Bandai Namco announcing that it will no longer make the game available for purchase. The base game, DLC, and virtual currency will be taken offline on February 7, 2022 at 5 PM PT and 8 PM ET. This applies to all versions of the game, including Switch.

Bandai Namco is also pulling the plug on online servers as of August 24, 2022. All single players content can still be accessed along with PVP battles (except for the Ranked Match mode).
