A new May 2022 Indie World Showcase is set to take place tomorrow, May 11, Nintendo has announced. The presentation will cover roughly 20 minutes of upcoming indie titles for Switch.

2021 is almost over, but Nintendo decided to end the year with one last presentation – that being this week’s Indie World Showcase. Fans were again treated to looks at upcoming indie games for Switch.
As is standard for Indie World Showcases, we saw some shadowdrops. Chicory: A Colorful Tale, Dungeon Munchies, Let’s Play! Oink Games, and Timelie were all announced for Switch and immediately released. Some other notable news included the official announcement for Sea of Stars on Switch, Don’t Starve Together, and OMORI being reconfirmed for the system with a Spring 2022 launch window. The December 2021 Indie World Showcase is almost here, and we’ve set up a live stream so that you can watch the event as it happens.
The event, which was just announced yesterday, is estimated to be about 20 minutes of long. Expect the latest news on games we’ve heard about previously as well as brand new titles. It’s hard to say what exactly will show up here, but expect lots and lots of indies.

This week’s Indie World Showcase was pretty darn packed with new games for Switch. There were brand new titles, ports, and plenty of new experiences to try out that same day.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Eastward, TOEM, Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon, Metal Slug Tactics, Tetris Effect: Connected, FAR: Changing Tides, Loop Hero, Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator, Gang Beasts, Astroneer, and LumbearJack were all featured. Axiom Verge 2, Boyfriend Dungeon, Necrobarista: Final Pour, Islanders, Garden Story, Slime Rancher: Plortable Edition, and Curious Expedition 2 all came out on Wednesday. Nintendo typically puts out an Indie World Showcase around this time of year, and the latest presentation was finally delivered this week. The newest and greatest indie games were shown off for Switch as part of a 20-minute presentation.
Well over a dozen projects were shown. There were brand new announcements, shadowdrops, and updates on previously-known titles. Oxenfree II, OlliOlli World, Fez, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon, and The House of the Dead: Remake were among the featured games.
