It seems like Nintendo is pulling out all the stops for the big Switch event at Tokyo Big Sight in January. In addition to being able to try out the Switch for themselves, attendees will also get to experience various concerts.

A rock band put together by Nintendo will perform twice on January 14th and once on January 15th. They will perform various video game tunes. Finally, a big band will perform on January 15th to cap off the event. They will also perform video game-themed music.

Yo-kai Watch 3: Sukiyaki sold through 77.32 percent of its initial shipment. As a comparison to the first week sales of other Yo-kai Watch entries’ first week sales:

– Yo-kai Watch 2: Shinuchi (Yo-kai Watch 2’s third version): 1,244,000 copies
– Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits / Fleshy Souls – 1,317,000 copies
– Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi / Tempura – 632,000 copies

Media Create points out that Yo-kai Watch’s popularity has fallen compared to the Yo-kai Watch 2 era. As a third version title, Sukiyaki had a massive drop in first week sales compared to previous games.

SEGA 3D Fukkoku Archives 3: Final Stage has launched in Japan. Like almost every 3DS game, there’s now a relevant Miiverse community for the release.

Siliconera came across something interesting with the new forum. You’ll notice that once you load up the page, it actually shows as SEGA 3D Classics Collection 2.

SEGA 3D Classics Collection made it to North America earlier this year, and Europe last month. This doesn’t confirm localization of the new package, but it does give us some hope.

– Emma is a close friend of the protagonist who says she’ll undergo the ritual to climb “God’s Rock” with him
– V Jump asks, “What is it that they see there?”
– The Great Tree of Life floats in the center of the world
– It is said the hero can commune with the soul of the Great Tree
– The protagonist’s home village of Ishi is a small and quiet village located in the valley
– In battle, the 3DS version shows both the party and monsters in 3D mode, and just the monsters in 2D mode
