New Nintendo Labo hands-on videos from Japan and North America were shared by Nintendo last night. We also have one from Nintendo UK now as well, which you can see below.

We previously reported on Nintendo Labo’s Toy-Con Garage, which allows for rudimentary programming so that you can create your own projects. Nintendo now shows this off for the first time in the video below.

The Nintendo Labo Customization Set is now available for pre-order. You can order yours from Best Buy here. Amazon is also taking pre-orders here. The set retails at $9.99.

Over on the official Nintendo UK store, pre-orders have opened for Nintendo Labo. You can reserve the different products here. These include the Variety Kit and Robot Kit, as well as the Customization Set.

Over the past couple of weeks, Famitsu has started running regular features on Nintendo Labo. As part of this, the magazine spoke with four different members of the gaming industry for their thoughts on the new Switch initiative. Rez and Space Channel 5 creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada, Bandai Namco’s Jun Tamaoki (Summer Lesson), and Famitsu editor-in-chief Katsuhiko Hayashi weighed in on Nintendo Labo.

We’ve gone ahead and translated their various remarks. You can find the full comments from each of these people below.

In Japan, the Nintendo Labo sets will be sold with a download code through the My Nintendo Store. This applies to both the Variety Kit and Labo Kit.

Listings on the My Nintendo Store provide the file size for both kits. They’ll each require 1.2GB of free space to download.

Tonight, Nintendo published a bunch of different videos for Nintendo Labo. We also received a ton of new footage. With that, there’s something particularly neat that has been shown with the Toy-Con Motorbike.

You can actually use what Nintendo is calling the Toy-Con Scanner to scan an object and then add that shape to the terrain. This is demonstrated in the video below. You can scan anything – be it a hand or even the Joy-Con itself.

The official Nintendo Labo websites updated today with a bunch of new footage showing off the various games that can be played. We’ve rounded up all of the clips from the Japanese site below (due to the quality being higher).
