The Nintendo UK store has readied a pre-order bonus for Layton’s Mystery Journey. By reserving the game, you’ll gain access to some DLC.

The first piece of DLC is an outfit for Katrielle while the other is a stylish decorative pillow which can be used to decorate the Layton Detective Agency. Apparently the outfit can’t be obtained in the game normally.

Depending on what you choose, you can receive an additional goodie. Nintendo will be providing a bonus poster or figurine.

Original (9/28): Amazon has opened pre-orders for The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia. You can reserve your copy here. For those of you in Canada, you can get it here.

The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia features 320 pages covering the first game up through Twilight Princess HD. You’ll find “a comprehensive collection of enemies and items, potions to poes, an expansion of the lore touched upon in Hyrule Historia, concept art, screencaps, maps, main characters and how they relate, languages, and much, much more, including an exclusive interview with series producer, Eiji Aonuma”. It also has expanded coverage of the Zelda timeline and rare development sketches of characters.

The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia releases on April 24, 2018.

Attack on Titan 2 was announced for Switch in Japan at the Tokyo Game Show this week. Koei Tecmo then followed up with news for the west, confirming the same release plans in North America and Europe.

Retailers have started to open pre-orders for Attack on Titan 2 as a result. On Amazon, you can reserve it here. GameStop has pre-orders here.

Original: Amazon UK has started taking pre-orders for the Super Mario Odyssey Switch bundle. Reserve it here. Along with the Switch hardware (including the red Joy-Con), you’ll receive a digital code for Super Mario Odyssey.

8Bitdo has two new controllers in the pipeline for the Super NES Classic Edition. They come in two variants: SNES and Super Famicom.

Both controllers feature 2.4G wireless technology and a rechargeable lithium ion battery built in. 8Bitdo says it’s the “highest quality retro controller available, designed with attention and care”. You’ll receive the controller, 2.4G receive, and a USB cable with a purchase.
