Pure Chess DLC will be out at launch, pricing revealed

When Pure Chess launches on Thursday, players will be able to purchase DLC for individual chess sets and chess game packs.
Pricing for the chess sets is set at €1.19 / £0.99 / $1.65. They are as follows:
- Halloween Chess Set
- Easter Island Chess Set
- Battalion Chess Set
Pure Chess will also offer game chess game packs for €1.99 / £1.59 / $2.69. These are as follows:
- Roman Game Pack (Roman themed chess set & Roman-inspired environment)
- Park Game Pack (Park animals themed chess set & leafy park environment)
- Forest Game Pack (Isle of Lewis chess set & calm forest environment)

Pure Chess launching next Thursday for Wii U and 3DS

Pure Chess will launch for both Wii U and 3DS on March 20, Ripstone has announced. The game will be available on the eShop for $7.99 / £4.99 / €5.99.
Pure Chess features cross-platform play, meaning users on Wii U, 3DS, iPad, iPhone, iPod, and Android can play against each other. Incorporating the functionality led to the title’s longer than expected development period.

Pure Chess approved by Nintendo, release date info coming next week

According to a tweet from Ripstone, Pure Chess has now been approved by Nintendo. Release date news is expected for both Wii U and 3DS sometime next week.
Ripstone’s message reads:

Stick it to the Man confirmed for Wii U

Stick it to the Man is officially coming to Wii U, publisher Ripstone has confirmed. The game will be available sometime this spring.
Ripstone shared the announcement on Twitter just a short while ago, writing:

Ripstone likely bringing Stick it to the Man to Wii U

Ripstone has shown strong support for Wii U thus far having already released Knytt Underground on the eShop, and Pure Chess to follow in the coming months. A third game from the publisher also appears to be on the way: Stick it to the Man.
USK has listed the platformer for release on Wii U. That’s not a concrete confirmation, but the German ratings board has been generally reliable in the past. Developer Zoink Games also recently teased upcoming news for Wii U.
We’ve reached out to Ripstone about Stick it to the Man’s USK listing, and will provide an update if we receive a response.
