Another round of data is in from this month’s NPD report. Along with the best-sellers on Switch and 3DS specifically for the month of February, we also have a list of the games that have sold the best through 2018 and over the past twelve months. Continue on below for the full results.
Media Create sales (3/12/18 – 3/18/18)

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Media Create are as follows:
Switch – 54,342
PS4 – 14,349
PS4 Pro – 8,278
New 2DS LL – 4,937
New 3DS LL – 3,664
Vita – 3,644

Xbox One X – 74

US: Switch achieves the highest installed base for a console platform in history over first 12 months

The February 2018 NPD results were reported today. Switch wasn’t the top selling console, but Nintendo does have some news to feel encouraged about.
Switch has managed to achieve the highest installed base for a console platform in history in the United States. That information comes directly from analyst Mat Piscatella.
Nintendo previously announced that by the end of December 2017, Switch has sold 14.86 million units worldwide.

Today, Nintendo unveiled the top-selling indie games on Switch to date. Although we don’t have actual numbers, Nintendo’s publisher and developer-relations department Damon Baker shared which games are in the top ten.

Kirby Star Allies is the fastest-selling Kirby game in history in the UK

Kirby Star Allies was released last week and it seems like the game is off to a good start, sales-wise. It debuted at #2 in the UK sales charts, which makes it the fastest-selling Kirby game in UK history. Previously, the two fastest-selling Kirby games were Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot on the 3DS.

The indie success stories on Switch haven’t stopped, as two more developers have come forward with good news this week.
First, FDG Entertainment provided an update on how Blossom Tales has done on Switch. The company says that the Switch version has surpassed Steam lifetime revenue by 20x.
